Very nice to have our own bathroom and balcony. Our stay was cut in half due to the weather for aircraft. The staff was wonderful. Having a shared kitchen was very convenient. Thank you so much!!

Très bien localisé. Excellent rapport qualité et prix. Lorenzo très accueillant. Chambre très bien mais salle de bain un peu petite mais toutefois fonctionnelle. Petit déjeuner très bien afin de bien commencer la journée.

Convenience at the vicinity of St Peter's Basilica and the Metro line, though the property is a bit old, In addition to being so helpful, Lorenzo does his best to keep the place pleasant to his guests with daily attended room service and a special selection of goodies for breakfast etc.. Wish to visit again.

Great room

The room at the apartment was excellent. Very clean and spotless, comfy beds and great added touch of air con. Good location near the Vatican and plenty of restaurants and shops near by. The host Lorenzo and his mum where brilliant very friendly and kind and very helpful for tips and trips. Just remember only 2 people in the lift at one time! Would highly recommend to stay here.

II Colonnato has great location. Very close to Vatican City, about 10 minutes walk. Bus stop just in front of the property. Lorenzo was very helpful and accommodating especially about questions regarding Rome. Gave us map which is very helpful. Snacks, fresh fruits were always available. They replenish them everyday. Had great vacation in Rome.

Lorenzo made our stay more than we expected.He arranged our airport pick up and drop off✔️ the breakfast/snacks was awesome and replenished often✔️the lication is as described on the website✔️he gave us pointers on where to go to eat, best gelatos and must have espressos and cafes✔️ my 3 aunts had the best experience and vowed to come back sooner rhan later. we already tild our friends and families to book at Il Colonnato👌 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Visit to the Vatican

Perfect location for the Vatican. Close to the bus lines to The Collesium. Grocery across the street. Lorenzo was very helpful. His English was perfect.

The facility is excellent for a short term stay. Lorenzo was fantastic when greeting us. He also looked after our transportation from the airport and the following day to the port. The breakfast is all you need. Very clean. Currently enjoying morning espresso on the balcony. There is a 10 euro city tax we were unaware of upon check in.

Great stay, great location.

I cannot emphasise enough how great our stay was here and how helpful Lorenzo was. We chose this place because of the reviews and they weren’t wrong. Great location and excellent service. It was nice that the breakfast options were there all the time. After a long day trip to Pompeii it was nice to be able to grab a bottle of water and some cereal. They also had useful things like bottle openers and wine glasses which made sitting out on the balcony of an evening lovely. I would recommend to any of my friends or family visiting Rome soon!

Wir waren zwei Nächte als Familie mit zwei Kindern in Rom. Unsere Mädels wollte da gar nicht weg. Am liebsten hätten sie noch ein paar Tage dort verbracht. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt neben dem Vatikan. Man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Und Lorenzo macht den Aufenthalt zu einem einmaligen Ereignis! Einfach nur toll!

Lorenzo was extremly helpful. We will be staying at 8 holtels during our trip and he was the only one to thank us for the booking and offer any assistance within an hour of the booking. Before our trip he responded to 5 or 6 emails with questions. When told we were driving, he gave us his personal cell number to call if we had troubles. On arrival he suplied us with a map of the main area of Rome and circled and discussed several of the interesting places to see and various ways to get there. Also a few restaruants close to most of the places.

The room was well attended and very clean. There is a small continental breakfast available. The host is very kind and attentive. Location is a bit out of the way for historic Rome sites, but close to Vatican City. There is a bus stop directly outside, but in our experience the bus you need was quite infrequent. We waited up to 45 minutes one day.

Lorenzo was very communicative prior to the trip and extremely helpful with information about what to see, where to eat etc. We were a short walk to the Vatican and the free street parking made check in easy. He recommended a local trattoria that was delicious and inviting. The place was clean and included all amenities needed including help yourself foods for the B&B aspect. Definitely woukd stay again!

Our hotel was first class. Host was very informative and location was walking distance to the Vatican City. Couldn’t fault it. What a wonderful city.
