Hotel was built in 90's and it has an antique look. Antiques was bought from Sultan of Morocco. You can see few antique furniture's in and around the property. Staff's were really nice and the hotel is pet friendly. The property has a well-lit parking lot. There are few family-owned restaurants at a walkable distance (Italian, Mexican). Loves Park is across the river if you want to take your pet for a walk or relax. It is very quiet and away from all the traffic. If you do not mind antique look then you will enjoy the stay. The rooms are update to latest specifications and good breakfast. We spend couple of days and we loved it.

We had a phenomenal stay here. The room was really cool with the loft and having 2 bathrooms with 4 of us was a lifesaver. It was very affordable. Staff were always there to help us with any concerns or questions. I really want to give a shoutout to the manager 3/28/24. Myself and my 2 children were checking out and starting our 5.5 hour journey home, and our car battery was dead. He went above and beyond trying to help us. I was in a panicked situation and he tried everything to make me feel better! I wish I caught his name. We made it home safely long after we planned on it. Also the ladies in the breakfast area were amazing and so nice. Complements to the chef on those biscuits and gravy! They were the best I’ve ever had.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay…the lobby with the ornately carved mantels, the elaborate doors and stained glass ceiling medallion was beautiful heightening the experience as you “breakfasted” with views of the river, beaver and lively squirrels…highly recommended!

If you like old charm with a beautiful view instead of contemorary that overlooks a parking lot, this is it. The rooms are nicely updated, but the rest of the inn includes fireplaces, mahogany panels, and stained glass. Upgrading to a room with a river view is worth it! I will be back! Just needed hangers in the closet.

Staff was great! Surrounding area outdoor had old cans and garbage on ground. Anyone could get to train tracks which could be a bad situation. The pool was under maintenance which is the main reason i choose to stay there.

Usually a hotel with a beautiful river view is out of my price range, but this was comparable cost to many of the national chains I've used elsewhere. Lobby and breakfast areas were beautiful with carved or simulated woodwork and stained glass.

From start to finish, this was an amazing stay! I was greeted and checked in by Katrina who obviously loved her job and really cared about the facility. She seemed to "brag" about the hotel and was so extremely pleasant and welcoming. It didn't stop there, every staff member I interacted with was very nice and helpful and seemed to be very positive. Even the night desk man was helpful with some issues I had working the TV. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning with fresh bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, B&G and an assortment of other items. The girls in the kitchen even brought out fresh cut fruit and offered it up table side. Now these ladies in the kitchen area scored big points too because my son left his invisalign retainers wrapped in a napkin when we went back to our room. He ran back downstairs and they had already cleared the table but they took the time to look for them in the trash!!! Saved a $200 replacement there! Don't let me forget to mention the facility in general. The parking lot was not as exciting as the inside but they had it well lit and lots of cameras so I had no concerns. The inside is just beautiful with old style woodwork. The rooms were very clean and spacious with lots of towels in the bathroom. Very clean bathroom and tub. Beds were firm but soft with plenty of pillows. The price was good and this was all around a great visit and experience and we will definitely be coming back often!!!

Very unique lobby. Lots of history to observe. Check-in was easy. Beds & pillows were comfortable. The soaps and shampoos were free of the bad chemicals. It was easy and convenient to get to. The breakfast was very nice as well, many options and very pleasant service. I would stay there again.

The best thing about this hotel, other than the location on the Rock River, is the staff. So friendly and helpful. The full free breakfast was very good. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. I would stay there again on our next family visit.

This was our second time staying and noticed a few renovations to the property as well. Was a comfortable stay, friendly staff, the rooms are huge and comfortable, and pretty quiet overall. Will continue to stay here in the future!

Omg! I LOVED this hotel! I stayed there for business but so wanted to stay another night to just enjoy the property but they were fully booked. In my downtime I just wandered the building admiring the architecture. I would love to stay here again!

Service was good at the property. Breakfast was great. Area around the property is not doing well. Closed stores in the area. This property is being remodeled. The room was freshly painted and the bathroom completely remodeled.

Neighborhood not greatest but no problems. Outside didn’t look all the nice but inside was really nice! Staff was friendly. Morning breakfast was very nice and woman working was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Nice room with view of River.
