Abhorrent noise levels outside. This location is EXACTLY across from the Mayo Clinic! The majority of their customers are likely Mayo Clinic patients! The UNNECESSARILY LOUD street traffic from motorcycles, pickup trucks, and illegal exhaust systems all resonate throughout the corridors of the tall Mayo buildings, making it impossible to get some rest. I've been to the Mayo clinic four times in the last six months and have NEVER once seen law enforcement present anywhere to address the chaotic displays in a HOSPITAL. Also bring your own cleaning and room deodorizer. The rooms ALWAYS smell horrible here. Management is NOT interested in your complaints!

Overall we had a great stay. The staff were excellent, friendly and accommodating. The CB3 restaurant there was also very good. Great food and friendly, efficient staff as well.

This was our second time staying at this property. We have chosen it because of its proximity to Mayo Clinic and Methodist Hospital. Extremely convenient to just walk across the street or through the subway if the weather is bad. The rooms are clean and the staff is pleasant. The in house restaurant has enough choices for us and is convenient. Onsite parking is limited so we try to walk to dinner rather than take a chance on losing our parking spot. The first time we were there the room was very cold and they couldn’t do anything about it. This time, when we took a shower water came out of the ceiling and soaked the bathroom floor. Not the greatest but there are enough positives that we will likely stay here again. I know, weird to have those issues but be willing to put up with it. There are other hotels in close proximity where we stay when they have a special rate but this one is typically quite a bit cheaper.

We loved the suite we stayed in for two days! Spacious and comfortable, with no noise from outside! It was a convenient stay close to Mayo so post-surgery, I could be wheeled in a wheelchair to my room, and stay another day in case extra care was needed by the best healthcare facility and personnel. Staff was friendly and helpful at our hotel!

It was convenient to the Mayo Clinic. The room was large and reasonably comfortable. But the room and lobby were dark and dingy. A dirt towel had been left hanging on the bathroom door. Housekeeping was available only by special request. The principal person manning the front desk was consistently rude and unwilling to help. I would not stay there again

The location is really nice for Mayo visits and the price is nice. It’s very convenient and really why we stay there regularly. However, the property is run down. It could be cleaned better and spruced up a bit. The pool was so disgusting we decided not to swim, which is really disappointing considering it would have been a great stress relief after numerous medical appointments. We even checked back the next day and it still looked nasty. Very disappointing.

It was right across the street from where I needed to be at the Mayo. I liked that there was a restaurant in the hotel. Rooms are great but we stayed less than 12 hours.

Please forgive the parking issue and timeliness of your check in. Our check in time is 4:00pm and we will research this issue for you. If you were to ask any person living, working or visiting the Rochester area, the parking would rank in the top three spots of any conversation. Two new parking garages are being built this year!

Pool has no seating and never had towels for use. Hot tub not working and pool is freezing cold. The restaurants in the hotel are extremely expensive ($17 for ckn strip basket that is the size of a kids meal), 1.5hr wait to be double charged for food, Check out says 12 and housekeeping was knocking before 9am just to "ask" what time you were leaving. Not a great experience for us this time.

We had the team rearranging the seating everyday as the pool seating 'migrates' throughout the day when we are at full capacity. Please accept our apology if this was not available for you. When checking was directed to their parking which only consisted of a handful of spots. No place to park after I was charged for parking. When inquired I was told to try a parking garage down the street. Room was very small with the sink inconvenient spot right by the door. Pillow case had stained blood on it. Someone had a dog barking at night/early morning since they allow pets. Would recommend a different hotel as there are several within a few blocks.

The Kahler properties have been my home away from home for every three or four months for seven years of visiting Mayo Clinic. They were there through the pandemic, and were amazing! The Kahler is incredibly convenient (roll out of bed and walk across the street to Mayo …and other destinations as well) so nice and clean, each one has a really good restaurant. Best choice in Rochester. I highly recommend :-)

The building is quite old. The noise from the fan in the room for the heater was loud. There was an odor in the halls. Convenient for Mayo appointment. Staff were helpful. The parking seemed expensive

Nothing like paying $120 a night plus $15 for parking to stay in a dirty hotel with black hair from previous hotel guests ALL OVER the sheets and sleeping on an old box spring!!! I can’t believe this. I’m shook. I can’t even check out the bathroom in fear I wouldn’t be able to sleep. Do not stay here

I always stay here when I come to the Mayo Clinic. Easy access to the subway level so you can get to appointments without worrying about the weather. Also easy to walk to a variety of downtown restaurants.

I recommend Kahler Inns and Suites most highly to anyone needing quality accommodation with easy walkable access to Mayo Clinic. I was able to go to my room between appointments as it never took more than 3 minutes to get to anywhere in the hospital or clinic.

We actually stayed 3 nights because of some additional treatment. The beds are very uncomfortable so when they added more treatment we moved to a different hotel that was a little cheaper and had breakfast included. At the new hotel the beds were very comfortable. We will not stay at the Kahler again.
