Great location for what we needed to do at the north end of town. Easy access to HWY 52. Lots of decent eating and shopping places nearby.....decent little breakfast included.

The staff at this location went above and beyond to make our stay nice and comfortable. Booking through Expedia, our reservation got messed up for the first night and we didn’t have a room. They found us a room and didn’t charge us a thing for the night because of the error that wasn’t even theirs. They were great.

We have stayed at the Hampton Inn for years when visiting family in the Rochester area. The maintenance was lacking. The controls for the blinds were missing a cover and did not work. We could not open them. A lamp was broken and a towel rack fell apart when grabbing a towel. Parking for my disabled cousin’s van was limited. She had to park using 2 spots so she could exit her van.

We loved how dog friendly this location was. The rooms are huge and had a table with dog treats and toys. Nice breakfast area. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Room was VERY spacious. Hot tub water could have been a bit warmer. Shower made a loud howling noise while in use. And the room needed brighter bulbs, especially since our shade was off the track and had to be rolled up for light.

Rochester MN stay
The hotel is in good shape compared to others in Rochester. Location is good for us. Texas Roadhouse is really close! We are here often for Mayo appointments and this hotel is very well keep.

I have never been to Rochester MN before, and I am from NW Indiana. I read some good reviews on the Hampton North Rochester. The place actually exceeded my expectations when I arrived at 2 AM. It is beautifully decorated and the front desk was extremely hospitable and helpful. The room and the entire place was very clean. Breakfast was very good- with plenty of choices. Refills came quickly.The bed was comfortable, the room was quite spacious, and it had a fridge. It was very quiet. It truly was a gem on my trip to see my son swim at the Rochester Recreational Center. I traveled alone, and it is a safe spot. I did not leave a Do Not Disturb sign out, and this is 1 of the few hotels that still replenish and refresh everything. Jenna, at the front desk, was amazing at listening to my independent needs and accommodating me. I am so thankful that I found this place. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT and hope to be back in the future!

The night clerk was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The shuttle to Mayo Clinic was excellant. The room was clean and roomy. The curtain to the window was some weird blanket that was worn, broke and would not roll up. That really took away from the room. Overall a good stay!

I requested a room on the top floor away from the elevator. Instead, we were given room on the second floor next to the elevator. I’m pulling down the bedsheet, and there was some foreign object laying on the sheet. I went to the receptionist and showed it to her. She said that she would make sure that the manager would be notified. Nothing has been done about it.

With only one independent restaurant "close by", the need to take Uber or a taxi, is a factor. I think if were staying more than a day or two, I would choose a complex that either has inside dining or is within a reasonable walking distance.

Very nice hotel. Clean room, newish carpet and furniture. Great Breakfast!!! Great fitness room and pool!!! Friendly and helpful front desk people and kitchen workers. Highly recommended.
