"Location was excellent. 1/2 block up from main road with all restaurants, etc. Road is a dirt road which can be muddy. As anywhere in the area you did have to keep an eye on your surroundings with some of the people around."

"Great location walking out onto the beach front with dining, shopping & groceries in both directions. You are on the heart of the main street so everything in the area is walkable. I felt incredibly safe and we had the best beach views. The owner is lovely & friendly, speaking great English which was helpful! Room was a very generous size however we had a power outage both days (not the propertys fault, the entire street was out). Highly reccomend, very satisfied!! "

"We had an amazing 10 day visit to Roatan. The Bamboo Apartment and The Sanctuary property were fantastic!! The apartment was clean, bright with a full kitchen the. It was in a perfect location just steps from the beach. There is a pier/dock that has a covered seating area to sit and watch the sunset or watch the dolphins across the bay. "We stayed 6 weeks at West End Plantation Cottage. This was our first trip to Roatan. We don’t party so we wanted somewhere we could have peace and quiet but also wanted to be able to eat at restaurants or cook if we choose. "The building was a 3 story wooden structure. We stayed on the 3rd floor, unit #6. 1. There were no working smoke detectors. 2. No fire extinguishers. 3. No sprinkler system. 4. Only one exit from the 3rd floor, a set of stairs at the opposite end of the building. If a fire was in that area- you had no way out. The unit had everything for a comfortable stay."

"My friend and I were here and couldn’t have been more pleased with Blue Bahia. Mostly the staff being so incredibly friendly, accommodating, attentive and full of great information. The grounds are kept well and our condo was clean and had everything we needed. If we needed anything, it just took a quick message and they were on it.
