The number one reason we chose this property over others was for the indoor pool, so my kids could enjoy during the day. The heater was broken and the water was COLD. OK, no big deal because there's a hot tub....until it stopped working. The rooms were large, which was really nice. However, looking closer, things werent great. Mold in the bathrooms, poor lighting in the rooms. The swimming area was in pretty bad condition with lots of rust and moldy areas. Other non-essential thing, for instance, new curtains had been put up in the room we stayed in. We could tell because they didnt patch the holes in the wall or paint. The fitted sheets came off the bed super easily and happened every day repeatedly. All in all, nothing drastically bad, but we wouldnt choose to stay here again.

The only problem I continue to have is the indoor pool is so unbearably cold, it’s impossible to enjoy. I’ve selected this hotel for nearly monthly visits for almost 3 years, because it has an indoor pool, however because it’s impossible to use, I may have to find another

Decent Hotel with old bones.
Stay was good, except the hot tub was out of service and thats why I booked it. Rooms were clean, but the maintenance on the rooms could have been better. It was a good stay for the price. I would go back.

We came for a Tech football game! It is a half hour drive but worth it! So nice how they decorate the hotel in Hokie colors for the game! The rooms are so spacious so there is plenty of room for everyone. The breakfast is decent with you usual waffle maker and eggs and sausage as well as cereals breads and juices and fruits and yogurts. Staff are very very nice and helpful! You can walk next door to the food lion which is helpful. This is our second time staying here and we will definitely be back.

Just wasn't the most pleasant stay.
Just wasn't the most pleasant stay. The shower had little water pressure; due to the fact it was spraying out of the bath faucet rather than the shower head. It had a slow drain so, by the time I was done with my shower I was ankle deep in water. You couldn't change the TV to HDMI it was stuck on cable. So, I couldn't watch the shows I wanted to watch on Netflix or any other app. Doesn't seem like much but I was at a different hotel the night before in another city and it was much more pleasant. Would not reccommend this location.
