"The room itself was fine, but the overall experience was frustrating. Although there is an office on-site, there is no receptionist available in the building. Instead, guests must use a self-service machine for check-in and check-out.
After paying my security deposit, the machine failed to provide the room key as it was supposed to. I had to call the property’s phone number, and a staff member came over from the hotel/building across the street to bring me my key. She was helpful and understanding, especially since I had questions about the amount I had paid and there was no one available on-site to assist me.
Before checking out, I called again to confirm the process for receiving my security deposit refund. Unfortunately, the receptionist I spoke with was very impatient. When I politely asked for her name so I could note who I had spoken with, she sighed audibly and hung up on me. I had to call back to get her name, which she said was Sandy.
The lack of on-site staff, poor customer service during checkout, and noise coming from inside the walls made for a stressful stay. I also didn’t sleep well because of the noise. Overall, it was a nerve-racking experience, and I would not stay here again."
