This hotel was fantastic, staff are all really helpful. The rooms are plenty big enough and are cleaned daily. The breakfast buffet was amazing, so much food to choose from. Great stay.

Beautiful and well maintained property in a convenient location of Rio. We were there for New Years Eve parties and the location made it easy to attend as well as quick to get to Ipanema. The only strange policy they have is they wouldn’t allow my friend to come up to our room when we were getting ready.

NYE Stay
We stayed here for NYE and it didn’t job. The rooms are rather small and not updated but they are clean. The food is as not much to rave about but a decent selection. The neighborhood has a lot to offer.

I stayed in Brazil for 2 weeks in 7 different hotels. This is the worst out of the 7. First of all, as a VIP member, I didn't get any benefits from the hotel, no upgrade, no greetings, nothing at all. Secondly, the room we got was extremely small (and cannot be upgraded); The last but worst part is the dirty of the room. My girlfriend felt ichy after sleeping there for one night, we have to call the clean lady to come and replace all the bad sheets so that she was able to sleep well on the second day. Overall, I would NOT recommend this hotel as it received the lowest score among my 7 hotels in Rio.

Great place, warm staff and tasty food
Very comfortable and the staff was exceptionally helpful and caring. The dining was delicious and the restaurant staff in particular were very warm and friendly. The fejoada was particularly tasty, better than what we experienced at other restaurants.

Seriously disappointing
Really disappointing stay. The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. It all looks like Miami circa 1982. In the meantime they could at least replace the mattresses. The bed was so useless and uncomfortable we genuinely considered sleeping on the floor. Breakfast is meh. Make sure you get there early as nothing is replaced so everything goes hard or slushy, and if you arrive from 10am the staff are almost chasing you out to clear by 10.30am. The staff are as unimpressed with being there as the guests are and it shows in their attitude. The guy who checked us in at Reception was outright rude. Location is good so that’s its saving grace.

The hotel is very nice and staff are polite and go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. The room I stayed was one of the smallest hotel rooms I've seen in my life. It had just a very small window and felt claustrophobic. I went away for a few days and they upgraded me to a bigger room, although with a king size bed instead of separate beds as requested at the booking.

Security presence was reassuring. Lots of pharmacies, small grocery stores, etc a block away. Close to subway, and many attractions within walking distance. Huge restaurant seats 500 people. Great staff.

Nice property in a good safe location. Uber cost to pier was R$20 ($4.00 US). Tours on Viator pick you up at the hotel. Clean, good breakfast, and desk staff speak English Good 3-night stay- would recommend!

Good business class hotel room was very clean, for the price a very good value. Not far from the beach lots of sports. Hotel staff were excellent. Buffet was good but not the full on Brazilian experience. Mattress was feeling its age. 20 min beach walk to Assador restaurant (Great). Nice walk to Sugarloaf Mountain. 15 minutes by Uber to Copacabana. If in Rio for business it’s a good hotel.

The tv was not working well it turn on and off and we couldn’t use it. The telephone was not working in the room so we couldn’t complained. There was a lack of information about how to use the room service. There was not telephone working. Maybe there was a way but they didn’t informed us.

I frequent Windsor hoteis. It is a solid brand in Brazil. I chose this hotel because of the location/price/positive reviews. I was somewhat disappointed. Slow and inefficient check in and check out. Expedia VIP Gold Status not recognized. Room upgrade received after the first offered room option appeared to not acceptable. Soap dispenser not working, air conditioning inefficient, elevator call button is disfunctional. I had no major problems and the room/facilities were clean, however I would choose another Windsor hotel for my next stay.
