The stay was very average. The resort looks a little tired and run down in places. It’s clean enough. However we were here all inclusive and have to be honest the food is below average. There’s choices but always cold and tasteless. Ended up eating out more. Lunchtime menu is extremely poor burgers, hotdogs, pizza all carbs rubbish. Overall the rooms are small and beds uncomfortable. At best the hotel is 3 star really. I would look elsewhere.

Great family run hotel situated just outside the hustle and bustle of Faliraki centre. Note: actual location is on a hill 15 min walk from the main road. All inclusive option is great however top shelf spirits and western brand names are at an extra cost. Having read a number of negative reviews about the food I must say the choice on offer every day is fantastic with a mixture of traditional Greek and international dishes. Two decent size pools and a small 'water-park' on site offer entertainment for all ages. The Animation team are the highlight of this resort who provide daily fun filled activities throughout the day. A special mention to Nick in reservations who went out of his way to find another room in the new block as the rooms in the old block are in need of a little bit of modernisation. He also arranged for a bottle of wine on my birthday. All in all a memorable holiday in sun soaked Rhodes!

Venezia is a very good resort. We enjoyed it very much. The staff are exceptional and the rooms and grounds are very good. During the day you can serve yourself Berra’s, wine, and all soft drinks. It’s on top of a hill so you get great views.

Very nice hotel with pools and restaurants, the room we stayed in was very clean, and comfy with a balcony and nice view to the pool! The staff are welcoming! The location is perfect it’s 4 mins away from all the hustle and bustle of faliraki, there is a street full of shops restaurants and nightclubs! It’s 20mins away from old town! Wifi is not free in the rooms, you pay 6€ for 3 days per user, we were 3 individuals we should have pay 18€ for wifi but the woman on reception offered us 2 free cards for 3 days so we ended up paying 6€ only!! Furthermore the breakfast was good but there’s no variety of food but you can always find something to eat! Very friendly staff on the aqua pool! Thank you venezia!

Disappointing Return Visit
Visited this resort many times with no issues. Arrived to be allocated a room in the old and tired hotel building next door ( a recent acquisition). Our room although clean was in desperate need of modernisation, the bathroom old-fashioned, with a leaking showerhead and a curtain that was too short. The bed frames were old although the mattress, pillows and linen was clean. New air-conditioning unit in full working order. Breakfast at the pool bar was limited, with no variation during our visit. There was no fruit although on site fruit trees were visible. Great food at the Aqua pool bar as always. The 3 pool areas are great although entertainment is sadly lacking at this hotel, just a weekly barbecue with karaoke. The drinks at the bar do not appear to be of an acceptable standard i.e. poor quality spirits. Think this is our last stay at this resort.

Enjoy stay in Falarika
The resort was close to town. Shuttle buses available for free to take you down to beach. There were actitves available to take tours of various local sights. Staff was wonderful. All inclusive food option with great food at all meals Pools were great as weather is hot. Children water park on site for playing

Lovely friendly hotel
Lovely stay at this well run hotel. We had a beautiful room which was cleaned regularly. Staff very friendly and helpful. All inclusive could be slightly better, although there was always a choice. Noise from the corridors in middle of the night was our only problem due to a large party of guests not being considerate. Free bus to the beach every day was great.

1980's management!
We stay every year on a different hotel in Rhodes. This hotel was the worse. They offer wi-fi, safe(??) and air condition (???) only if you pay. They are normally not included. We were lucky because we got a half board deal so we had free air condition. At what age are we leaving in?? The shower cabin was so small, you can hardly turn around yourself, we thought it was a camera joke. The food was terrible. We ate dinner first three days at the restaurant, later we had to eat out. Breakfast was weak as well. Some of the stuff was really rude, for example the bartender on the pool bar, he was everyday so rude(!) because we asked just ice for our termos to use it on the beach. There is no room service including just simple cleaning on Sundays. I never experienced such a thing in any hotel all over the world. Thanks to the reservation officer Gloria, she changed our room with a nice view after the first night, otherwise we could even leave early and stay at another hotel. Forget this hotel...

What a relaxing place to stay!
Greta hotel, lovely food which we were really impressed by. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, everyone made us feel very welcome. Very relaxing atmosphere, especially loved the pool and pool bar. Would definitely recommend and would go back in a heartbeat!

Family run hotel - Amazing!
This family run hotel, now very rare in the Greek islands, is truly amazing. The family take it board to look after you personally, and make sure that your stay is the most comfortable, enjoyable & relaxed. We have never felt so emotional about checking out and leaving a hotel before! We went fully inclusive, and enjoyed all that comes with that. Please refer to my comments later regarding food. BUT - every type of food was available from the 'pay a little extra' al a carte menu, which we did not indulge in. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We will go back soonest.

This hotel has a brilliant pool area ! The rooms are clean and tidy! Breakfast perfect Lunch perfect Tea ok Overall a very good choice of hotel only 5 mins taxi which is (€5) to bar street!

Not impressed by hotel rooms and a hike to town
My boyfriend and I arrived late to the hotel at about 1:30 a.m because we took the ferry from Karpathos. When arriving to the hotel the outside and lobby are very nice. There was a women who was there to help us and checked us into our hotel. She asked to see both of our passports and my printed itinerary. The hotel held onto our passports for the night ( a little uncomfortable with that but they were there in the morning) and she also kept our itinerary sheet. When we walked into our room, we had two twin size beds instead of one double bed which I requested. We were not happy about our bed situation, but we were exhausted from our travels and choose to just speak with them in the morning. The next morning, I spoke to a different lady at the front desk and explained the situation and asked if we can be moved into another room. She then said to me, "well you need to request that" and I explained to her I did but I can not prove it at the moment because the woman last night kept the paper. She then told me that they did not have the paper and all rooms were booked anyway. I was very upset by their unaccommodating attitude. We were not offered anything because of this inconvenience, not a free drink at the bar or anything. I know it may not seem like the worst thing in the world, but it was not what I requested and I do not feel that the staff was helpful or understanding. Also the hotel is NOT close to the town with all the restaurants, bars or beaches.

Lovely family run hotel. Great base for an escape.
Venezia Resort hotel was an great discovery. Our two studio rooms were clean, roomy and well presented - recent redecoration meant for a comfortable stay. The shower was very cramped, although the rest of the bathroom was of good quality. Sheets and towels were usually changed daily. The kitchen area was only really used for the fridge and the morning cups of tea, as we tended to eat out all the time. As room-only guests, we found the food there to be excellent value compared to local venues, with good service and standard of food. Air conditioning and safety deposit box were additional costs we were aware of prior to departing; the 35 Euros charge for a.c. cheaper than other hotels. The view from our balcony was superb - breakfast each day with a sea view - awesome. The poolside area had recently been upgraded - new decking and tiling surrounding an ample pool area and adjoining bar/ café. plenty of sun loungers with little "towel reservation" taking place also.Bar and restaurant staff were really friendly and engaging. They worked hard and I always got a cold glass! Try the "Extreme coffee" frappe in the bar - wow! Location is a little out of town - 20 minute walk up hill. 5 Euros in a taxi, or a fairly regular air conditioned bus ride for 1 euro. The bus stop is directly outside the hotel, so links to Rhodes town or other areas of Rhodes was easy and direct. Being slightly up the hill also meant capturing a lovely early evening breeze every night in the bar. We'd go back

Relaxed atmosphere and good company all round
We as a couple in our mid-thirties found it to be a brilliant place to stay. Most of the other guests were of a similar age group and the mood was friendly and relaxed. The facilities were spot on, with a sizeable pool area, plenty of sun beds, poolside bar serving decent food and range of drinks, fantastic views from the indoor bar and veranda and well furnished rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful when you required travel info etc and made you feel most welcome. The only negative really was the breakfast buffet. After a few days, it got a bit monotonous so we ended up having toast and jam (a lot) as the other items didn't feel very breakfast-like (might just be because we're not used to spinach pie, chocolate cake and olives in UK). The only other things were the cleaners, who although pleasant and punctual, didn't really clean the floor properly as it was quite hairy under the bed and in the bathroom, which I ended up wiping with wet tissue myself and the lack of shower for guests who wanted to use pool after checking out and need a shower to de-chlorinate. You can extend your room for €23.50, but that's quite a lot if you just want to wash so a shower and changing room would be a great idea. The walk into town took about 15 minutes, so not bad really. It was nice to be located away from the buzz of it, but not too far a walk away. If we came back to Faliraki, we would look to stay at the Venezia again.

After check in we found our room with a dirty toilet, an empty shower dispenser, a used water bottle (don‘t know if it was supposed to be complementary water) and a shirt from the previous guest. Also two dirty blankets with nasty stains. We informed the front desk twice and they promised to take care of it. Instead still no shower gel, still a dirty toilet, blankets are still dirty and were not exchanged … but also no hand towels on another day and the shower rug was gone for the rest of our stay… again we informed the front desk (3rd time) … Finally we received a clean blanket and towels, that was it! The bathroom remained dirty, sink uncleaned and we bought our own shower gel…

Tres bel hotel, parfait pour les familles. En revanche la fermeture de la piscine à 18h est contraignante et la propreté de la chambre est a revoir (poussière et serviette tachées). L’hotel est un peu loins du centre si vous êtes à pied, mais le système de navette pour aller a la plage est pratique. La nourriture est correcte mais très orientée pour la clientèle britannique.

Nice stay
We got free room upgrade for our three night midsummer break which made our stay very comfortable! Facilities are old but clean and nice. Food and drinks are ok and evening programs quite entertainement 😃. Free parking is right at the hotel entrance. We can clearly recommendate this place. But WIFI was extremely slow. Barely possible to check simple news

L'hôtel est très bien les piscines sont vraiment top pour toute la famille même si elle ferme un peu tôt. Le personnel est adorable. Petit bémol sur la nourriture plutôt adaptée à une clientèle anglaise ou hollandaise mais on trouve toujours quelque chose à manger surtout les pizza au bar qui sont vraiment bonne

Fint hotell med iskall pool och urusel restaurang.
Incheckningen gick perfekt och då vi kom till rummet blev vi mycket glada...fint rum och egen pool....sedan finns det inget mer positivt att säga om detta hotell. Mycket kallt vatten i poolen (under 20c), men värst av allt var maten. Vi hade bokat all-inclusive, men det som serverades på detta hotell var bland det värsta vi upplevt. Mycket klent utbud, ej färdiglagad mat och i princip samma mat som serverades varje dag...i en skala 1-10 får restaurangen betyg -1. Detta är något som hotellets ledning måste ta tag i annars är jag övertygad om att hotellet försvinner snart...

We understand that food taste is something heavily subjective, and that is why we offer a wide variety of dishes to choose from everyday (more than 200 different dishes in total). With regard to your private pool, let us highlight the fact we never advertised that our pools were heated. Considering you stayed with us at the end of September, it is only normal that water in pools can be somewhat chilly during the night. Last but not least, our location is no secret. While it has some advantages like the breathtaking view it offers, it has disadvantages as well. That is why, we offer a free transfer to Faliraki Center (near the beach) three times per day on a daily basis. We hope to change your mind next time, if you are willing to visit us again of course. Allasalueet olivat asialliset . Huoneen suihkutilat erittäin ahtaat.Painan n.70 kg ja puolet kehostani jäi suihkutilan ulkopuolelle.Myös wc-pytty oli erittäin ahtaasti sijoitettu.Illallisella melu oli aivan korvia huumaava, lasten leikkipaikan läheisyyden vuoksi.

Really nice All Inclusive hotel in peaceful location but not so far from beach and bar street of Faliraki. Because hotel is some way uphill we found it easy to walk to the city and take 5€ taxi back to the hotel. Hotels shuttle bus drove scheduled three times per day to the beach and back for free. Staff was very friendly and food delicious with enough day-to-day variations in menu. Our room was clean and big enough (superior room). Pool and bar areas were quite large and we had never problems to find free sunbeds. All-inclusive drinks were easy to get from taps. We enjoyed our time in Venezia Resort.

Struttura molto ampia sulla collina di Faliraki (dalla sala del buffet - e non solo - si ha una vista strepitosa!) Pulizia quotidiana della camera, clientela internazionale e varia. Ambiente informale, la formula “alla inclusive” è un po’ diversa da quella solitamente venduta a catalogo dai nostri tour operator ma è soddisfacente, buffet vario anche se dai sapori/abitudini alimentari più nordici che non italiani. Se dotati di auto questo albergo/resort vale sicuramente la pena di conoscerlo!

Commentaire à lire jusqu’au bout puisqu’il y’a du négatif mais aussi du positif. Nous sommes partis en couple une semaine dans cet hôtel. Nous avons eu une chambre moderne (comparer à d’autres) avec une douche à l’italienne, un lit double, la clime et une terrasse.La nourriture n’est vraiment pas terrible. Un soir sur deux c’est un menu international et les autres soirs c’est un menu à thème : Asie, Grec, Barbecue. Concernant le menu asiatique ce n’était pas vraiment asiatique, grec il n’y avait même pas de pita gyros ( énormément décevant) et barbecue il y avait deux viandes grillées. Le beurre au petit déjeuner reste a température ambiante, il n’est même pas au frais, pareil pour la mayonnaise et le ketchup pour le déjeuner et le dîner. Le all in pour les boissons est assez juste puisque la journée nous avons le droit à uniquement des sodas,du vin (rouge/blanc) ou de la bière. Les cocktails ou autres alcools sont gratuits à partir de 18h et jusque 23h. Si vous souhaitez consommer de l’alcool la journée il faut payer. Les animations sont justes nulles. L’aquagym dure le temps de 3-4 chansons puis l’animatrice met de la musique et s’assoit sur une chaise. Que ce soit pour le water polo ou le volley dans l’eau,pareil l’animateur donne les ballons et s’assoient pour regarder sans mettre l’ambiance ou participer. Poolområde var godt. Værelser ok men bestem ikke som vist på billeder. Maden var ikke særlig god - særlig morgenmad var elendig.

La posizione è ottima per raggiungere il centro di Faliraki, anche a piedi raggiungibile in meno di 30 minuti. La struttura nel complesso è di stile moderno. Il personale della reception è stato sempre disponibile. Idem il personale del ristorante e del bar. Unica nota negativa va alla ristorazione e alle pulizie. Per quanto riguarda la ristorazione, è sempre molto limitata, ripetitiva e non di ottimo gusto. Per quanto riguarda le pulizie delle camere nel complesso sono svolte bene. Però, gli asciugamani delle volte non sono stati cambiati giornalmente, nonostante fossero stati usati. La domenica è da sottolineare il fatto che non attuano nessun tipo di pulizie alle camere, nonostante sul sito e su Expedia ci sia scritto pulizie tutti i giorni. Nel complesso è ben servita se non

With regard to cleaning, I kindly inform you that Expedia does not let us to mention detailed information about the cleaning days. After reading your review we decided to change the housekeeping note to "weekdays only" which is not true either but at least this way guests will not get frustrated while expecting someone to clean their room every Sunday. Regarding the food, we offer more than 200 different hot dishes in total through 5 different theme nights (Asian, Greek, Italian, BBQ and International). We try to satisfy most, if not all, tastes.
