Would recommend
Hotel was great, staff was friendly. They recommended some restaurants, and helped us with housekeeping requests. Parking was a little chaotic, but we managed to squeeze into a spot. Too many irresponsible people parking across multiple spots. Overall a great stay, although short.

Our stay was good, we like walking so the distance to the city was easily walkable. The room was spacious, bed and pillows were uncomfortable, but overall it was okay

Will not come back. This is the third time I stayed here all three times had issues with the room. Room smelled like someone smoked inside it. They changed the room for me second room ac did not work. This is the Sam experience I have had all three times. Hotel needs a major cleaning of all the carpets. For a 150 euro a night the hotel should be cleaner and a little more kept up.

Our stay at Leonardo visiting Heidelberg
What a wonderful friendly staff! They helped us with which bus to take to and from downtown, (about a 10 minute bus ride from the hotel)gave us a map of the old town Heidelberg and which trails to visit. They were just so great. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast. Definitely will rebook next trip there!!!!

The staff were were super friendly and professional. The breakfast served at the hotel was by far the best breakfast of all the hotels we stayed at. Amazing!

Very clean place and quiet for sleeping. The only thing was that it was quite far from the city centre and it was far from restaurants near by. Loved the hotel, but next time I would stay closer to the city.

No elevator! Confused management
There’s no elevator for some of the rooms! You have to pull your luggage upstairs by yourself. No staff helped with luggage! Confused instruction for guests to go all the way on the other side of the lobby to an elevator and then go up and down to find out that elevator only leads to some other rooms after a long and exhausting walk and moving of big luggage. Staff lack of knowledge of nearby restaurant. We arrived on Monday and the staff recommended us a restaurant that closes on Monday. After pulling luggage to a wrong elevator and then upstairs for 20-30 mins plus a 20-25mins walk in dark and found out that restaurant closed on Monday we went back to the hotel at 9:30pm and then the staff told us the small pizzeria in the hotel was just closed at 9:30pm and the chef had gone and no food can be offered. After making complaints at the reception, the staff there helped to fix the problem by asking the chef (that means actually the chef had not gone) to help preparing food for us.

Excellent: Staff OK: Room - telephone didn’t work; heat stuck on high; room not vacuumed very well (M&Ms found on floor); peep hole in door was broken. Transportation: Take city bus #33 to Gregor-Mendel-Real Schulz stop from Heidelberg Bahnhof. Walk about 400 meters from stop to hotel.

The Leonaardo is a a hotel , where you will get what you are looking for! Compared to their rates they are doing well! It is a clean and good budget hote but a little too far from downtown and the rooms are small
