A fair stay
The location is very central with free parking, which is great. However, the apartment's cleanliness could be improved. In addition, there is lots of snow and ice on the staircase leading up to the apartment which is very slippery and challenging to carry our luggage upstairs in that condition.

Far from Luxury
We booked to stay here for my 50th Birthday, we wanted something a little more than just your average apartment. Unfortunately this didn't meet our expectations. Many things were not as described. Free Parking - There was no free parking. Daily Clean - There is no daily clean, and you have to nag and chase to get your bins emptied and clean towels. Our bathroom was not cleaned nor was our kitchen for 6 days. Games Console - There wasn't one. Sofa Bed - Broken and stained. Windows - ill fitting in one bedroom so you had a constant draught. Blinds in bathroom - Give no privacy when using the toilet at all, had to use the toilet with no light on as I didnt want to be seen using the toilet. TV - Hardly any channels and TV makes a horrible buzzing noise. The good thing about the apartment was the location, it was very central but unfortunately I cant say anymore than that as it left us all very very disappointed.

Stayed in Home 3, no bedding left for child, had to make do at 11pm, two blinds broken, 1 couldn't be closed, no daily cleaning as advertised, very dirty sofa (popcorn down sides! this was my sons bed, grill dirty, no plug to wash up and surprisingly no option to recycle.

The short is I'd stay with home luxary apartments again, as the value for dollar is there. The room was massive and more than met our needs, but not as it appeared in the Expedia photos. The room itself could have used a bit of TLC, one light switch fell off, exposed wiring for one outlet, and the bathroom exterior door handle was not attached.

cool studio space right in the middle of reykjavic. walking distance to almost everything. dedicated parking spot. apartments could use some basIc maintenance, but it didn't affect our stay. a couple of bulbs out, and some of the radiators didn't seem to work, but it was quite warm. comfy bed.

Good flat but could do with a more maintenance
Hair in the shower gully, silicon tatty and floor moving, not bad flat just need a bit of tlc, mattress on the floor could be on proper bed, easy to check in.

Overall it is a good place to stay more than one day. It should be more clearly instructed before arriving accommodation how to get into the building and check in. It was somewhat escape game for me that caused unnecessary time waste when we got arrived.

Convenient central place
Central location, convenient for centre of Reykjavik, nice layout and interiour of the apartment but needs some TLC, many lights were not working, window blinds were not easy to operate and since there was a street light shining right into the bedroom window that was an inconvenience for us. Also the location of the bed is strange, surrounded by walls from three sides, I did hurt my knee in the night as I am use to sleep on the side of the bed. And there is no bathtub like in the picture, just a funny shower.

It was a bit noisy due to close proximity to a couple of bars. The unit was quite large for a studio, especially for European standards. The unit was also a perfect location to all the museums, restaurants, and sites.

Plenty of space
Plenty of space for my family of four. We stayed in this apartment only for two nights. It’s designed for a longer stay in Reykjavik to appreciate more the comfort it offers. The establishment is located inside two parallel streets, the entrance is on one, and the parking lot is on the other, a one-way street. Park somewhere nearby, search for the right door (doors along the streets; there is a red button for a doorbell) check-in, then you’ll be directed to the designated parking spot. Or you can figure it out beforehand—I didn’t! And , oh, and two flights of stairs before the elevator. We didn’t mind, but some may think twice. The elevator is more accessible through the front desk, with less climbing.

The hotel in very good location,very close by Laugavegur street which is the main shopping street and restaurants and bars. The bed is comfortable, the sofa is a bit dirty, the kitchen in good condition and the bathroom is ok.

Poor slow check in, need more staff. Basic amounts of utensils provided for what is a large apartment. Parking is rather disappointing even though the property advertises free parking. Overall it’s a clean and comfortable apartment nicely located to the centre of the city.

Love the size and layout of this apartment!! It had a lot of natural light from it’s wall of windows. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, cookware, fridge, oven, and gas stove!

There were only a few things I didnt love about my stay. 1, the velvet feeling sofa that turns into a bed was a tad dirty, and two and most important....I was expecting a different room. I think the pictures of the room you are booking should be showed. I selected this apartment specifically because it had a soaking tub.....when I got to the apartment I was very sad it only had a shower. Now the best things? The front desk woman (Im horrible with names Blonde, thin, atteactive) was soooooo nice! Helped us out with how parking works, gave us advice on things to do etc. She was great! The room had everything we needed I loved the kitchen! I was also very thankful that the staff cleaned our dishes when we were out! We were running late and didn't wash them. I was not expecting the staff to do it and was pleasantly surpised when they did.

You are right in the center of everything! This is Iceland, so apartments are small but this one does the job! Don't expect the bathtub, and wifi is there if you can find the right spots! The kitchen is great, and a market with reasonable prices is just up two little streets. Eating in a restaurant or even fast food can cost

Family fun in Iceland
Perfect location.Lovely service and cleaning team at the apartment. Great little apartment Home 1 Could do with a lick of paint but not a criticism just a personal observation. 20 yards from main street.Great harbour area and great street food cafes. Just a lovely country to visit. Would do it more often but its 3 x the price of UK food and drink etc. Local geo the.al swimming pool is a must;could spend all day there.

Comfortable apartment in good central location. Staff were helpful and friendly. Low ceilings and barrel bath may pose a challenge for older visitors with less good mobility but this was a great place for us to stay.

The property has very limited parking (only 3 spaces). If you are not lucky to get one all parking in the downtown area is pay parking. We stayed in two different units. The second unit, while a similar layout, was nicer than the first.

Great location and absolutely great to have free parking downtown. There was a kitchen which was very useful. Abit dusty, but clean and comfortable beds.

Wonderful location
Location is amazing. The apartment size and kitchen are great. Two items to be aware of...ceilings in the bedrooms and the shower/tub. The ceilings in the bedrooms are sloped/angled. When walking along side the bed you must stoop a bit or you will bump your head. Getting up in middle of night, you can't stand up or you will hit your head. The bathroom shower/tub looks cool. It can be tricky getting in and out. If you have knee or hip problems, this is not the shower for you. Staff were great and appreciate their attention.

Great location but far from luxurious
Our apartment was in a great location but looked nothing like the picture. Although it was clean and fully stocked with kitchen supplies, the memory foam mattress on the floor was in no way luxurious! That being said the staff was wonderful and the location is perfect!

This could be an amazing place but they are very sneaky with their policy, nobody on the lobby (they have multiple locations and there's nobody to welcome you, or if you need something), the room was dirty, dusty, smelly, the bathroom was beyond! Wow, so disgusting! Not a good place, gave me headache!

We never got to stay in the pent house we booked, instead we were put in 2 separate apartments further out of town than we wanted and The apartments they gave us, we were told they were more “luxury”. They were dirty and not even apartments that they advertise on there site. Bed sheets dirty and blood stains on mattress,shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months. We were very disappointed

Great apartment- walking distance to everything in Reykjavik- the 4 nights we were there we never walked farther than 2 blocks for an amazing restaurant- the back gate handle was broken the night we got there- was fixed the next morning after letting the front desk know!!!

Great for friends
Stayed in the 2 bedroom penthouse with a friend. Was great to have the living room to hang out in and drink at home. The staff were very helpful and the apartment well appointed (plunger+coffee provided, which was nice). There is no shower, instead it's a bit wooden tub. This was cool, but awkward to get in and out of if you are not agile. The main downside was the noise from the nearby bars was loud and kept going until 4am on friday and saturday nights. So if you need quiet, this isn't one for you. But if you like being in the centre of things, it's great.

Cute apartment in a great location. We loved the cozy feel and had fun exploring the city. Given price and the central location, I couldn't have expected more. Staff was very friendly and gave us lots of great suggestions. A few things to consider: there is no free parking. Or at least, there wasn't for us (we asked). Be prepared to pay $10-$15 US for street parking per day. They also require a security deposit of $250 US on a credit card when you check in. Four days later, this is still showing up as a "pending" charge on my bank statement. Overall, this is a very good deal if you are looking for something a little more personal than your average hotel.

The location was perfect ! Small but has everything you need everything is oprn plan so it is spacious. Receptionist was very helpful to us and every guest!. Very secure. If i had to pick an issue our blind fell the 1st day that looked on to the main stairway and everyone could see in. This was not fixed at all. But wasnt a massive issue only getting ready . But would 100% return.
