Doors look like people tried to break into them. Some doors don’t even work. No body wash! No hot water! No heat! Plus the light outside our window was so bright we couldn’t sleep. Not to mention you have to pay for breakfast. What a joke! Worst stay ever!!!! Definitely will not be staying here ever again!!!

Stayed at hotel after medical procedure. Check in was smooth and quick. The room was clean and well appointed. And even though the room faced a busy freeway the noise was minimal. The only concern about the room was although we loved the shower and and the great waterfall amount of water coming out of the shower head, it seems to be lacking the conservation of water we should all be observing. The room came with breakfast and it was a joy. The wait staff were friendly and helpful, and the choices and quality of the fare were very good. Definitely would stay here again.

Front desk said I had no reservations, then I showed her confirmation text. Then she said I have to hav confirmation email, which I then showed her. She took about ten minutes then said I already checked in to my room. I assured her I am not checked in. Although she already had my Id in hand. She called somebody's room and ask them if they were me. He obviously wasnt me, then she took another ten or so minutes and gave me the room. She was very willing and trying to get me to leave withouth checking in. It was late and i need to be up early, but I had to waste at least 20 minutes for a 2 minute check in. The next guest seemed to have similar issues and was being turned away when she also had a reservation.

The property is undergoing renovations. The rooms are modest, including the quality of the bedding. Parking and access are not convenient to room location and the hotel is located directly off Hwy 5 with all of the back rooms on the freeway side. The lobby and dining areas are nice. Staff were both friendly and helpful. Skip this one, and anything along this corridor of town. This part of Redding is low rent.

Good ol' spacious rooms
We had a late arrival (midnight) and the gentleman who checked us in offered a late check out time if we needed to sleep longer. The room was spacious and the two sinks (one inside the bathroom and one outside in the small hall from the door to the beds, was very helpful. The only issue was that there was not a free breakfast.

Wait until Renovation is Done!
They are in the middle of a renovation. There was debris in the hallway, the carpets were wrinkled, stained and sticky. Lots of nicks taken out of the walls and doors, it looks like a construction site. I would wait to stay here until after the renovations are done, because the service was really wonderful, the people are professional and nice. Also, the bed was clean and the bathroom is clean. Those things matter.

Comfortable bed! Clean room. Nice breakfast. Suggest that the news isn’t put on tv at breakfast time. Why would we want all that drama shoved in our face first thing? Music would be better.

No coffee/glasses/cups for 2nd night
2 night stay. House cleaning did not come in after 1 night. Therefor no coffee, glasses, or cups provided for 2nd night. We stayed in Rm 146. The room above us had a leak from the shower that dripped loudly on the roof of our shower. I advised staff of the issue and cautioned that serious damage could occur over time. Staff said they would report it when a matinence person came in on Mon.

The layout of the property was terrible- elevator was opposite the front desk. It was very hot and dank, the room A/C never cooled the room over night There was some sort of construction going on and the large containers took up most of the parking lot in back. Felt very dirty in the halls and room- needs a serious overhaul!

No electric Car, no TV no sleep
Don’t stay here if you have an electric car and want to charge it. Or if you want to watch tv at night before you go to sleep. The electric charges were all down and because they are a third party vender the Holiday Inn people don’t care. And the tv would just randomly change to blue screen, then back to tv. The beds also needed replacing last decade.
