"Staff was amazing. We called and asked if we could have the bar send up drinks and within 5 minutes the bartender sent our order up to our door. View looking out to the water from our room was also beautiful. Everything was clean besides the rug in the room. I had to throw out my white socks after wearing them around the room for a few hours because of how black they turned underneath. Would have been lovely if they provided disposable slippers if they don’t maintain the rugs."

"First, I’m gonna qualify my response by saying I stayed on a Monday and Tuesday during the second month of June. While I realized they’re not in full swing for the season even though they should be since it’s after memorial day the outside restaurant and coffee shop was not open while I was there. This was one of the reasons that I book this hotel. It would be great to stay on the property to get coffee in the morning breakfast and or lunch, but that was not the case. It should have been explained to us at the time of booking that it would not have been open and might have meant the difference in me booking this hotel. Other than that, the place was ok, a little dated maybe particularly for having the name”resort “ attached to it instead of just “hotel “. I would suggest that the hotel think about putting some kind of hooks or command hooks in the bathroom as there were no towel, racks or hooks to hang any towels or clothing. There was a musty smell to the hotel room. There were plenty of outlets in the room. I thought the pools were well-maintained and they were plenty of lounge chairs by the pool."

"Beautiful building, great location, our room overlooked the Atlantic Ocean and Convention Hall. The staff at the check-in desk gave us great local info and suggestions on where to go. The pool bar was so much fun, we made new friends and the staff was lovely. Highly recommend this hotel!!"

"Clean linens & room. Helpful staff. I was surprised at the variety/options included in the free breakfast - it was great! Minor issues with maintenance - our toilet clogged and we notified the desk. 11 hours later, after arriving back to the room, it still wasn't fixed or checked, but staff was responsive and quickly delivered a key to us for one of the neighboring rooms so we could use that toilet. Which, actually was kind of nice to have the privacy as there were three of us in our room! Area with chairs/tables for smoking outdoors. We didn't use the parking but the on-site spots would be a major bonus if we had had a car. Surprisingly quiet area with walkable access to great food and subway access. Gravesend pizza delivers to the hotel and it's excellent! Also, great value!!!"
