Magical getaway
We (three old friends) spent two nights here to celebrate a birthday. It surpassed expectations in every way. The view is the star player, just incredible. We ended up chatting on the deck at great length, occasionally looking through binoculars for whales (no luck). Very comfortable bedrooms, well appointed. Excellent kitchen. Loads of extras, beautifully stocked with things to do, like swimming, spa, games, marveling at the view! Absolutely wonderful. Hosts are great communicators. Spotlessly clean. Loved every second.

Restful with magnificent views
Lovely new home well equipped with high quality fittings and finishings. Perfect for a do-nothing holiday. Completely private and up a very steep driveway. We loved it!

Little Taupiri Bay: Stunning Views
Amazing location- quiet/ secluded. Close to the beach. Stunning Views - sea vista from Cape Brett through to the Poor Knight Islands House - spacious and clean. Everything has been thought of. The pics and descriptions are accurate. Check in process- contactless and easy to follow. Property Owner - excellent to deal with. Communications are honest & timely. They tell all you need to know about the property and the surrounding area.

Amazing views and secluded beach!
Perfect place for a quiet retreat with every amenity, nice-to-have’s and modern conveniences thought of and there for you so all you need to do is grocery shopping before arriving and then enjoy. Views were outstanding, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas were all nicely appointed. Enjoyed the secluded beach at the bottom of the driveway across the road, day trips via boats and hiking around the Bay of Islands and every sunrise and sunset from the decks. Plenty more to do on my next visit back!

Amazing place!
We (myself, my husband and our adult daughter) spent 3 nights at the Little Taupiri and we all wished we could stay longer. The house was amazing - a little piece of luxury in the beautiful surroundings, with lots of privacy. We loved the deck, the views and pretty much everything about the place. We will definitely be back!

The perfect getaway
We loved every minute of our stay at Little Taupiri. Everything you needed was at your fingertips; everything - from the linen to the wifi and the views - were of the highest quality. We will definitely return, especially to take a quiet, relaxing break.

Relaxing with mesmerising views
Could sit and watch the ocean for hours at Little Taupiri, in fact we did! Binoculars are a must. We saw dolphins and orcas on this visit. House is so comfortable, quality appliances and furniture. Bed linen was lovely. Tv, wifi all worked perfect. Spa was lovely to enjoy after a long day at the beach walking. Favourite part is the view, sitting in the beanbag reading under the shade of the umbrella. Magnificent. Second visit for us. We will be back. Wonderful hosts who we really appreciate sharing their holiday home with us as it’s very special.

Great property but couldn’t sleep on pull out couch, so uncomfortable. Should really advertise as sleeps 6. Wanted to have a BBQ but it was too dirty to use and one burner didn’t work

Fantastic home!
This home was absolutely fantastic. Had everything we could possibly need for our week long stay. The kayaks, outdoor hot shower, spa were huge bonuses. Oh my goodness, and the views - they are phenomenal! I could never decide which comfy chair or deck bean bag to sit in to get the best view. Book this place, you won’t regret it!

A nice break away
We have been to Little Taupiri a number of times and the views are still breath taking to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the weather being not so good one day. The house is so well set up that we always feel entertained. The owners are great with communication and provide us with everything we need to know. We look forward to our next trip!

Beyond expectations
I think this is a bach where the owners clearly have vision. Yes it is a stunning location but the home and all the extras are there so you can appreciate that to the fullest. Thank you for opening up your place for guests to enjoy. We loved every moment we were there and really appreciated the thought and care that has gone into every detail of the property to create a wonderful relaxing stay.

The property was exactly as advertised. A beautiful spot with lovely views and a spacious house. Nice extras available, like the spa and pizza oven. Comfy beds and nice and clean. Definitely on our list of places to return to.

The pictures don't do it justice.

This place is gorgeous it’s an absolute gem.! The location is so secluded you feel like you have the whole bay to yourself.! The house is fully stocked with coffee and few things to eat in the pantry too.! The bed is comfortable, there is even a pizza oven outside with a cute little chill area.! The kids even spotted a dolphin. It’s the most gorgeous house and designed to perfection to get views from every room.! Can’t wait to be back.!

Loved our stay. The house is so well equipped. A real home away from home with all the mod cons. The view mesmerising. The beds super comfy. Linen high quality and showers with descent pressure! The spa was enjoyed after a long day. So private and quiet. We left feeling as though we had a real break from the hustle and bustle of city life. The hosts were great. A lovely getaway
We are returning guests to Little Taupiri and thoroughly enjoyed our trip just as much as previous times. The place was tidy and welcoming when we arrived, and we had a very comfortable stay. I received great communication from Bill the owner (as always), and he is very accomodating. Little Taupiri is a great place to unwind!

Amazing stay in an amazing part of the world.

This was an amazing place to stay. Bill and Annette have thought of all the details to make the stay really enjoyable. Wish we could have had Covid 19 lock down in this amazing property!
This property has absolutely everything you need from spectacular views, nearby beaches, well equipped kitchen, Pilates reformer and gym, a hot tub, amazing home entertainment and is spotlessly clean and well maintained. I would recommend a week at little Taupori to anyone!

Wonderful views with proximity to Elliot Bay
The home was luxurious and considerably underpriced compared to others. It is well situated for day trips to Russell for fishing charters and historical tours or a swim at Long beach but possibly the jewel in the crown is local Elliot Bay including a walk over to adjoining beaches. Or there is Bland bay or Oakura to explore. Taupiri was very sheltered and quiet for sedate swimming a 5 minute walk. Well appointed kitchen and BBQ, most comfortable beds and very good showers, what more could you want? Thanks Bill and Annette for sharing your haven with us.

We have stayed at Little Taupiri several times and always enjoy our time there. The communication and coordination from the owner and managers are always so great. We find the place always has everything we need (plus more) and it really is a home away from home. A comfortable place even when the weather isn't on your side.
