I cancelled this guest within 23 hours of her booking last year and advised her. She ignored my cancellation as did Expedia. A week before arriving I get a query about beach towels and Wifi that I evidently said was free and was of a certai gigabyte. No Katrina. I had to reshuffle guests to accommodate because I felt sorry for her at such a late stage. I gave her instructions on how to locate us. The minute she arrived in the room she emailed me at 12.30 in the morning about the wifi...whoops the router was swtiched off ...and proceeded to communicate that way and at that time. Wifi is NOT free. She was rude to staff . She left her windows wide open. If it weren't for the dogs I think we'd have a different complaint. I told her she needed to shut the doors. and windows, the rooms are sound proof. There are solar lights- we prefer that guests do not swim after 8pm at night.... Finally checkout was at 10am , I graciously allowed to stay until she left for her 11pm flight at no charge. Please remit 1 x nights accommodation. With air conditioning, a pool, TV, basic amenities and supplies- tea, coffer, sugar, milk and water you'd think she at least find a glimmer of kindness.
