AC freezing or nothing, was told to unplug and replug.
Curtains filthy, would not cover window, light leak all night.
Door had to be slammed to latch, clerk said you just have to lift it. When I disagreed, she said she’d been working there for years so she knew.
Old coffee spill on the ac unit. OLD
Bathroom was clean.
Condom on floor/carpet in main hallway late afternoon. Still there in the morning. Clerk said she’d just gotten there that morning.
Breakfast was minimal, really improper to call it a breakfast.
Entire website description was inaccurate. Clerk said “yeah, a lot of people say that”.
I asked how long current owner had the motel, giving an opportunity for her to say “two days”. Her answer? “THREE YEARS”
Bed - saggy mattress Bedspread - torn
Sheets - appeared clean and bed well made.
Pillows - meh
Pool - heavy chlorine smell, which means not enough chlorine.
Clerk asked if I wanted managers card so I could contact. I said yes. Then she couldn’t find one.
Clerk said owner has 4 hotels in town and doesn’t have time to take care of all of them, says they can’t hire people. BS. Spend the money. I spent the money to stay in this disaster.
Does Wyndham ever q-check its hotels? This place is terrible. And it appears that they do not.
It sounds as though I’m over the top, but I heard other guests saying the same types of things to deaf ears.
Positives - it was indoors, with a door that locked. Roof did not leak.No rain tho."
