"Great hotel in handy location, right by the river and walking distance to many restaurants. Room was clean and the restaurant had a nice outdoor area. We stayed over Easter break so I paid extra for breakfast not knowing if the cafes will be open. Breakfast was nothing special but acceptable. Valet parking is $38 per day. There is no free parking that I could see near the hotel so we opted for that. I suggest a walk along Waikato river, cross one of the bridges and make the loop back."
