The property is at a fantastic location. Up on the hill with some super views. Tea and coffee in the room were good but utensils can be cleaner. The shower curtain was all crumpled. Just one pillow was provided per person. The staff are friendly and can be reached by phone. Most times there weren't anyone on the lobby. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. However there were some serious drawbacks including the fireplace switch which can only be operated on opening the safety lid exposing the open electrical connections which could result in severe shock hazards. The water faucet in the shower leaked the entire time we were there. We called the staff to inform but they didn't show much interest to fix it or move us to another room. We were subjected to dripping water through the two nights we were there. On top of that the sheer wastage of water for that period. They could have tried to stop the water temporarily and move us to another room but no effort was made whatsoever. The hotel doesn't have any breakfast. Just for views the hotel is attractive but it cannot be the usp for long if they don't fix the problems.

The evening got cold and thermostat was non operational. Next morning had to borrow a heater for the following evening. The fire place was also not functional, other than that it was a nice stay.

Terrible access to room. Up stairs, then down stairs, then back up stairs again. Lots of room, but configuration so confusing. Two beds down in a 500 sq.ft. room. No closests to hang clothes. No suit case stands. Kitchen was a joke. A large fridge and lots of dishes, but no way to cook food, except by a tiny microwave. No pans - probably because no cooktop or oven. This hotel (if you call it that) has no one at front desk. Just a note on counter to call a number if you needed something. Our single phone in the downstairs bedroom did not work - so, "who you gonna call?" Ghostbusters? There is a small leak in the ceiling that I wanted to report when we checked out, but lo and behold, there was a note on the counter in the office, that just said "Leave your room key in the tray below" if you are checking out. Most of what they show in the description is basically false. Stay away...

This is a dated facility. Our room still had nice amenities like a balcony, kitchenette, gas fireplace and TV and we were comfortable. The big bonus was seeing bighorn sheep.

The property and facility were somewhat run down, in need of proper cleaning in the bathroom, eaves troughing above the patio to keep the rain from pouring off the roof onto the patio where moss and mold are deteriorating the siding and railing.

Stay away from this place, if you have any good memories from it, it is all gone! Ownership and management have changed and now it is a dirty, unmaintained, overpriced MOTEL with a million dollar view that they are going to charge you for sure! Terry, the manager is a very unpleasant, unprofessional, rude and always sleepy person that has no customer service skills whatsoever, besides him there is one more other staff member that seems to be doing a little of everything, but that is not enough to clean the whole place, therefore you will find little surprises here and there like chewed old gum on the mantel of the fireplace, or food crumbs from previous guests, stains all over the carpet, dust everywhere. Plus, mismatched old furniture that they ask you to be gentil with (sofa-bed) or a “dinning table” with tall bar stools. They use a tapestry of a family to cover un repaired holes in the kitchen where a bar was ripped apart (the bar was between the fridge and the wall), the fridge had chocolate stains (I hope it was chocolate) and all the utensils were broken or dirty. Plus, it supposed to include breakfast but it ends at 9:30am, when I asked Terry where the hours were stated he said on his website and that I had to google it, there is nothing anywhere. Also, he refused to provide a copy of my bill/invoice even when the payment was done at the Motel, he told me to contact Expedia. 7 years coming to this place, ended now with the worst staying ever.

Upon checking in no one was at front desk and we had to call. When he came I thought he was a guest as he was wearing tshirt and sweat pants and flip flops. Property has very limited breakfast. FD did not give us a key as it was already opened and the key is in our room?!?!! So you never know who went in there after they "cleaned" it. The towels have stained, microwave still have the previous guests food in it and the coffee maker is filthy.

Peaceful and quiet
Loved the peacefulness of the mountain top view. And no roads. Finding staff between non peak hours was nearly imposible. Although that lead to the peacefulness as well . However if you are looking for hotel level cleanliness this isn't the place. Lots of dust/ dirt on the shelves/ doors. But over all, we had a great stay for a great price.

What you see is not what you get…
Very basic hotel, but found to be a little misleading as it advertised a fireplace but were told fires were not allowed. When asked about the sauna because the ad showed pictures of it, we were told they didn’t have one. The breakfast consisted of a table with juice boxes, boiled eggs, prepackaged muffins, oranges, granola bars and coffee in its entirety. Fine for a night, but do not go on the pictures alone otherwise you may be disappointed.

Garbage still in the room from previous guests, dirty dishes in the cupboards, no Kleenex, no coffee for coffee maker. Would never stay here again, breakfast is promised but not available at the time they say….don’t waste your money here

One Night Stay
The stay was very average - the main reason for booking this specific place was for the breakfast... heads up that they do not have a breakfast. They set up juice boxes, apples and oranges from 8am-10am to have 'breakfast'. Seeing as this was a ski trip for myself that did not suffice and I managed to spend another $30 to get hot coffee and a filling breakfast elsewhere. Considering that extra price cost, you could easily find a better stay that would include a breakfast. The room was extremely hot and smelled of mildew upon arrival. Luckily it was only a night stay and the shower and bathtub was not needed as they were pretty disturbing looking.

Definitely need upgrade for everything. The front desk doesn’t do any job . What’s mean is that the towels are short??? I can’t get it . Next day we get fresh towels but there are stains everywhere. It wasn’t clean it . Breakfast is nothing . Hot water and water machine is broken. We won’t never go back to this hotel. Only location is ok . The hotel picture has saunas but they don’t have sauna . Very disappointed.

The view is well worth it. The bed was very old and one side was sunk in enough for me to slide a bit during the night. The dishes werent clean. The door to the balcony was very hard to open. The table was barely attached to the wall. The included breakfast was next to nothing.
