The owners provided a welcome in aperatifo with wine on our arrival which was very much appreciated after a transatlantic flight. "The property is exceptional and the gardens are truly wonderful. Slight issue in travelling to the property, which took over 5 hours on public transport. As a tourist, it was impossible to provide an accurate arrival time which i estimated going on the distance that i needed to travel. "Hospitality was on point--receptionist helped us book our airport taxi, recommended some great eats. Location was sublime--15 mins walk to Poetto beach, 5 mins walk to a grocery store, lots of great restaurants and cafes nearby, plus near many bus stations as well. One criticism from me is the hotel creaks and have a lot of sounds, i.e neighbour flushing, clanking in vents/walls, etc. I am a heavy sleeper so no issue for me but may pose a problem to light sleepers.
