Clean, modern, helpful welcoming staff and fantastic views from the balcony - we rated this very highly and good value for money. We used the spa which was also great and both had a very nice massage
I really enjoyed my two night stay at the Mercure Saint Lary Sensoria. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room and facilities were up to Mercure standards. This is a ski resort town but there is plenty to see and do in the summer months and everything is accessible on foot from the hotel. I was fortunate enough to be there on Bastille Day and after dinner visited the free open air rock concert and fireworks display. The next day was even more exciting with France winning the World Cup soccer and of course celebrations all over town. I drove from here through to Barcelona on one of the most scenic routes I have experienced so all in all a great experience.
Situated in a lovely town with lots of choice of bars and restaurants.
The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a small fridge in the room which was useful. The bathroom had a bath with an overhead shower with good pressure and there was a separate toilet. There was a balcony with quite uncomfortable chairs - a small table would have been nice.
As many reviews have said, there is no air conditioning and the room got very hot, even leaving the window open.
All staff were friendly and helpful.
There was a storage room in which you could store bikes, but this was often found to be left open. Many people seemed to keep their expensive bikes in their room.
Small gripes - plastic glasses in the bathroom were not replaced; cups for tea/ coffee were cardboard; bottled water was only supplied on the first day.
We went for a family event so We had no time to explore the hotel . The location is beautiful. The room was disappointing. The carpet didn't look clean, the bad was too soft, the room smelled of humidity , we had to keep the sliding door open 24 hours in order for us to get good ventilation.
It was a challenging drive to get there but once you have arrived you are in a magic little town ini the Pyraneese. The staff was lovely and very accommodating. I liked being close to the mineral spas. Unfortunately you really have to book a spa treatment or "la cure" as they say in France to have full access to spas. Hours ini the summer are limited. I would like to return in the winter.
