Staff was fine but not overly focused on customer service and most interactions felt very perfunctory rather than actually wanting to make sure that guests were happy. Room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable, but there were some significant wear and tear issues, like the mirrored closet doors coming off the tracks every time you moved them. Overall it's a decent hotel with a very nice lobby and public areas, but we had been expecting a higher level of customer service at a hotel that was supposed to be one of the nicest ones in that area. After staying at a similar type of property in Orlando, I am thinking that this may be typical for large Marriott owned resorts.

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend, what an amazing experience. From check in till the time we checked out, everything was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience. I would recommend this hotel, one of the best in the area.

Staff very helpful - especially Michael at the Navigator (Concierge) desk. Beach access not great but better than most in this area of San Juan. Easy walking to stores & restaurants.

Beautiful property. Our fridge did not work properly and started beeping for an extended time. The sound from the adult pool and beach traveled up to the sixth floor and were a little pound in the evenings. Room was clean and well stocked daily.

Overall, the property was great. The staff was exceptional; all of them and that was impressive. If I was forced to make mention of one negative, it would be the beach/ocean. I do fully understand and appreciate the safety precautions the staff adheres to.

The stay was good, however ‘check-out’ process was the worst, the most horrible experience I have ever encountered compared to other resorts I have stayed in. My stay was less than a week (5 nights), and their policy indicated ‘if the stay exceeds seven nights’ then additional authorization on the card will occur. My credit card was continuously charged before my check out process causing my credit card company to put a hold on my card due to suspicious, fraudulent different amount of transactions from the hotel. I was able to clear with credit card company the transactions to allow the correct final overbalance amount to be charged early morning before my check out process. This experience has caused me not to trust or want to stay at the hotel due to ‘Policy’ misconstructions. I felt targeted, discomfort and my complaint was not addressed with real concern towards me as a guest. Everyone kept overemphasizing the resort fee and incidental fee, speaking to me as if I was an idiot and over stating ‘that is the hotel policy’ as an excuse to continuously try to charge my credit card before check-out. An unpleasant and bad impression of how they conduct business.

Only slight I have here is the staff at times were slow or not proactive in certain areas of service. Getting service around the pool area was challenging at times. Other areas required us to follow-up vs. checking in with us. Otherwise HIGHLY recommend for families and singles alike.

The bartender that was working the night of 04/04 was super rude . The female manager that was working the lobby area where the dj was playing the music was also quite rude . The pools are nice and well kept . Employees all seem mad or look as if they don’t want to be there , the only friendly employee was the gentleman from check in Ernesto T. The rooms need to be updated , I felt like I got catfished . The location itself was very convenient but for $550 a night I expect a bit more . This is a 3 star hotel at best . I spent the first 4 nights next door at the Vanderbilt and was very happy paying $700 a night there . But unfortunately I decided to stay one more night and they were sold out so I went next store to La Concha . I was disappointed . Sheets also felt very cheap .

Great views, friendly staff and nice rooms. Excellent service by staff.. albeit checkout was a bit disappointing and impersonal (sarcasm from counter person!?)...also the rates were a bit pricey. Other than that a great stay.

Our family spent the week at La Concha and had an amazing time. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast options at The Loft and Aroma Cafe. The poolside service was excellent as was the food. We ate at Serafina and the service and food was great. Recommend making a reservation in advance. The loungers by the pool were always in high demand but the staff did a great job at clearing towels for those loungers left vacant. The hotel felt safe and we enjoyed exploring the area around the hotel with local shops, restaurants and bars. The ocean was very rough so we didn't swim due to riptides and strong currents. We stayed in an ocean view room which was extremely well fitted out. A great hotel and would highly recommend.

Happy surprise with this resort. Having many options of restaurants on site was a big help. The beach was on the smaller side but was still nice. Multiple pools for the days that the ocean was too harsh to allow swimming. Loved that we didn't have to go through or enter the adjoining casino to access our room.

Went on a family vacation. The beach water was rough but still a beautiful view of the ocean. This place is always happening. If you are looking for a quiet place this isnt it. Unless you stay in your room. Yet the service was great, and it was fun..

Terrific location. In heart of San Juan but any scooter ride to Old San Juan. All staff were very helpful and always happy and pleasant. Beautiful beach front, nice pools. We stayed in one of the suites and found it to be roomy and comfortable.

Loved the pool options/umbrellas and the beach was perfect. Food/drinks were pricey (ex $18 for a cocktail) but the food quality and portions were decent. Hotel staff was super friendly and had great recommendations for restaurants outside the hotel. Getting around was easy…either taxi or Uber right from outside the hotel . I’d definitely go back!
