The stay was good, however ‘check-out’ process was the worst, the most horrible experience I have ever encountered compared to other resorts I have stayed in. My stay was less than a week (5 nights), and their policy indicated ‘if the stay exceeds seven nights’ then additional authorization on the card will occur.
My credit card was continuously charged before my check out process causing my credit card company to put a hold on my card due to suspicious, fraudulent different amount of transactions from the hotel. I was able to clear with credit card company the transactions to allow the correct final overbalance amount to be charged early morning before my check out process.
This experience has caused me not to trust or want to stay at the hotel due to ‘Policy’ misconstructions.
I felt targeted, discomfort and my complaint was not addressed with real concern towards me as a guest.
Everyone kept overemphasizing the resort fee and incidental fee, speaking to me as if I was an idiot and over stating ‘that is the hotel policy’ as an excuse to continuously try to charge my credit card before check-out. An unpleasant and bad impression of how they conduct business.
