Photos of the Aquarius Club units are outdated and deceptive. Furnishings in room is old, rusted, and broken. Room was unclean with old & dirty carpets. Towels were old & worn. A terrible, disappointing experience. Would never stay there again.

The area is really nice, the hotel is pretty good but may need a little update though. We couldn’t sleep at all one night because our room neighbors decided to party all night long without carrying for others, didn’t even care that we had called security for 3 times. Other than that, a nice place to stay.

Pros: Cheap; not crowded; beach is pretty good Cons: Dirty common areas; room not cleaned one day, and cleaned at 4:30 pm the next day; adjacent restaurants are good, not great, and pricey; front desk staff were indifferent to our needs; resort is painfully outdated If you can afford better, I wouldn't stay here. If you do, rent a car or plan to Uber to restaurants. Bottom line: You get what you pay for.

I liked the size of the pool but I didn’t like it was dirty. I liked the size of the suite but the rooms need an update because the hotel is old and you can see a lot of mold everywhere. The ocean view was lovely and the location is a plus. Overall it was good but the hotel needs some care.

Over all everything was great during my stay however one thing that almost ruined my trip was the fact I found two roaches in my room on different occasions my wife is completely terrified of them for whatever reason. She refused to unpack all of her things for our 3 day stay and insisted on emptying everything out b4 check out to assure nothing was traveling back home with us I would appreciate if I can get a response on this matter asap. Staff very rude, not helpful, felt like I was bothering them when I asked why the room wasn’t attended to several days in a row .. every time we came back to the room we had to go get towels ourselves to shower Communication was horrible… wouldn’t stay there again. Asked to speak to a manager and the response was they don’t come in until around 10:00 in the morning but weren’t really sure

Pros: Loved the location, beautiful surroundings, it is in a gated community and it was just walking distance to the beach. Con: The hallways had a musty odor. The rooms need serious updating. Many bathroom fixtures are falling apart, the bathroom mirrors have absorbed a lot of moisture due to lack or air vents.

Property is run down and very no-frills. The rooms are big but they have more of a motel vibe than a hotel. We had a roach in our room when we arrived and had to switched. Next room had a rusted microwave. Towels and wash clothes was limited. They took our dirty towels and never gave us new clean ones, we had to end up going to Walmart to get our own. We stayed here years ago when they were “golden sands villas” and it was much better. Also parking is $15 bucks a night and the first night we had to park by the other hotel because people parked in handicap parking with no handicap plaques and they had the other side of their lot closed off. Next time I would stay next door at the Embassy Suites hotel.

Useless stuff. They charge you $30/hour for late check out but I did not get a discount or a simple “sorry” when my check in was 45 late. Vending machines were broken and you have to go to the bars to buy a bottled water for $3 instead paying $1,25 at the vending machines. There is no other stores close to the hotel. So you need to take a taxi or order it. You can hear everything from your room. And the employees, maintenance guys are really loud all night. You can also hear the people next door.

The staff was so very friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. The room was clean. The pool and beach areas were absolutely beautiful. We would definitely stay there again. The only downside is that it was kind of far from OSJ and other tourist areas and we didn’t rent a car. Overall we really enjoyed our time at the resort.

Pools and pool area great! Wish there were more chairs and umbrellas. Private beach was ok; nice that it was private but a few feet into the water it was very rocky instead of the nice soft sand. Would be great for a few other dining options that are not super expensive like the restaurants but the food at the restaurants was wonderful! Front desk individuals were great regarding questions about staying there but very unhelpful with other questions such as transportation/uber/etc. Overall had a great stay and would stay again.

The view was beautiful but the room was DIRTY, it needs deep cleaning not just go in change sheets and vacuum, the carpet needs to be cleaned shampooed, the room has a toilet bowel that leaked, the room had mold , please advise where I could send pictures for the price I was charged and the condition it’s absurd.

Property is very clean, rooms are nice, but rooms with 2 double beds are very uncomfortable for 4 people like advertised, beds need upgrade they where hard.
