Nice option, front the beach-ocean, within a 2-4 street walking distance from the cruise terminal. The staff are friendly, and there's an excellent dining restaurant in the hotel.

Patagonia exploration
The hotel was an ideal base for exploring Peninsula Valdes and the surrounding Patagonian coast line for whales, penguins, sea lions, seals and various birds.

The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. The restaurant was surprisingly good, in particular the room service menu. I did not like that I had to wait until 8pm to order, but the food came quickly and was delicious. Also, the website says that certain food and drinks were available all day, and they were not.

Nice hotel in great location
Great location on the sea front and a nice modern hotel with great staff and food. Only downside is the difficulty parking as the sea front is a popular location for visitors. We were lucky on most occasions but had to park a few hundred metres away from the hotel once. Breakfasts were only average.

Really nice and helpful stuff. Hotel is a bit old fashioned, not as in the pictures. Air conditioning is not working and it was really hot. Otherwise all good.

We weren’t dazzled...
Not a great first impression - we believed parking was available, but it had to be reserved in advance so there was none available, which led to endless driving around town looking for a space. Then the air con didn’t work in our first room, meaning we were eventually moved

a base to stay but with zero glamour
There are very few places to stay in Puerto Madryn and this is supposed to be one of the best which is why we booked it. It is functional but that’s about it, the bed is quite hard but the room is big and pretty clean. It’s a decent base to stay but you wouldn’t want to spend any real time in your room. It’s along a travel lodge level of hotel. Staff are fine but unfriendly and we got zero interaction (even at breakfast) other than at check in where they watched us struggle up the stairs with our bags. Breakfast is the same as everywhere else. Scrambled eggs with bread and a small continental selection.

Great stay with a nice view
We booked a room with ocen view, very nice. The hotel has a restaurant with great food and good prices. Recently they opened a roof top terrace that has very nice views.

location, generous room size with excellent views
Great room overlooking the ocean. Very large with a huge bed and a modern bathroom with a great shower. The staff on reception were helpful but had limited English but between us we got there! The breakfast was so-so but pretty chaotic with not enough space for guests and often no crockery. The reception staff arranged our transfers from and to Trelew airport too which was much appreciated. The hotel is in a great location too within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and bars many of which sell a wide range of craft beers and have very good happy hour prices! We would stay here again next time.

Great Location
Very efficient staff very helpful. Had a really nice room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast was good the even served scrambled eggs rare in a hotel off this rating.only down side the Sauna and spa.

We liked The Dazzler. The best part was the location -- assuming you obtain an Ocean View. The room was very big - we liked it. Clean. Staff was fine - efficient. Breakfast was not much - kind of a Hampton Inn breakfast. We parked in the garage -- which was tiny, but a great rate. The location was very good.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. We booked 3 nights but we could not arrive on the first night since our flight was cancelled. The hotel kindly refund us for the night we did not stayed. Our room was very spacious with very nice ocean view. The location of the hotel is very central and close to many restaurants and the main streets.

Great Location
My husband and I stayed only one night before catching a flight, at the end of a 3 day visit to the Peninsula. The hotel was comfortable....close to a number of restaurants and shops.....right across the street from a beautiful beach. We parked in the underground hotel parking....quite tight even for a compact car......I’m not sure of the cost, we received it as the upgrade in our Expedia Gold rate. Not sure if check-out time has recently changed as our Expedia booking indicated 11am, but the hotel advised it was 10am.

Not 4-stars, it disappointed me
I booked ocean view room, but I can see the sea in half from my room only, another half is blocked by a building. I requested to change but the staff said not available (I’ve seen not many people during breakfast time). Also there is a playground between the hotel and the beach. You won’t enjoy the sea view moment when you standing aside of the windows. AC not cool enough and no control in room. Breakfast is just normal. I paid 160 USD per day and I would expect more.

Very nice stay!
Staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. Hotel is nicely decorated and rooms are spacious. It's sea front, but not all rooms have sea views. It's very conveniently located to walk to everything. I highly recommend this hotel.

Good location. Excellent Breakfast. Bad access.
Good location. Breakfast excellent. Bad accessibility, access road with steep stairs. We could not move your luggage without help from the staff (who should be encouraged). We had a serious disturbances began after midnight when he began to hiss because of strong wind that penetrated through the window is not sealed. It was difficult at that time to ask for help from staff who apparently knew about the window that is not sealed (we saw a torn tape around the window). Next time I'll look for another hotel.

Modern tower hotel
Something of a mixed bag. Large and comfortable room, but I asked for a quiet one and was given a room overlooking a main road. No double glazing so traffic noise was excessive. Had we been put on a higher floor it might have been better. Breakfast was adequate - the only fruit was in a bowl and I had to make a plate of assorted fruit myself - generally disorganised. Car parking is expensive - I'd expected it to be free considering the price of the room.

The rooms were clean and had a beautiful view of the ocean and the whales. This is what we paid for. There were three issues, though, which left us underwhelmed by this "luxury" hotel. The rooms were exceedingly hot with no controls to allow for temperature adjustment. In addition, our shower head was defective and showered the room even after my husband tightened it. Finally, we had an early morning flight from Trelew and though I can understand the breakfast not being available, we were disappointed to not even be able to get a cup of coffee to go.

Four friends staying for three nights, found the hotel very good. Professional staff, clean & comfortable bedrooms. Excellent location for beach and trips out of town. beware traffic noise at night, boy racers with loud exhausts seem to love revving up outside

Stayed at the Dazzler last year in a basic room. Very clean, modern room close to activities in area. Very good value for price. Would definitely stay there again. Close to dive shop take the opportunity to snorkel with the sea lions

Not only was our stay superb but the staff, specifically Martin, went far above the customary help. I had a dental emergency and he was nice enough to call the dentist and arrange an appointment - on a Sunday! Really appreciate all the staff from the wonderful room service to the doorman rushing to open the door each time we entered/exited.

Nice hotel, right on the beach
This is a nice place with excellent location and quality rooms. The staff was very helpful, and was able to communicate well in English. The breakfast was just okay and the rooms do not have individual thermostats. But, overall it was a great place and worked well for our stay in Puerto Madryn. Travel note: there is no reason to stay in Puerto Madryn longer then three nights. One day to see the penguins at Punta Tomba and one day to see the whales and seals on Peninsula Valdez is all you need or want.

Pretty good!
The location of this hotel is perfect--close to the water and in a fairly central location to shops/places to eat. I would give it a 4/5 starts because it didn't have a very filling breakfast (just pastries and bread) and the wifi was very poor (important for me because I was trying to do school work). The staff is very helpful in suggesting places to eat, booking tours with local agencies, and scheduling rides to/from the Trelew airport. I would recommend staying here, too, because of the ambiance of the hotel and overall cleanliness and comfort.

What a View
Waking up in the morning, opening the curtains and watching whales swimming and playing from the comfort of our bed... literally unbelievable. The hotel was in brilliant condition and the service was excellent. Our only downside of the stay was room temperature, which was way too hot and night which made it difficult to sleep, a controllable room air con would make the rooms so much better! Also the hot tub and sauna weren't open while we were there, the experience would have been so much better had they been.
