To access this property from Wenceslas Square you must walk down a 100-yard "passge" (more like a tunnel) with questionable businesses. The room was very small without a chair. Breakfast was average.
Rooms are not maintained well, poor equipped. No place to put your cloth. No hooks in bathroom. Everything is too old. Hotel doesn’t invest in room upgrade’s. Breakfast very simple and not many chooses. Online pictures of rooms and other commodities are totally not how it looks in reality. No laundry service in hotel, but it was listed as provided. Not recommending this hotel.
Elysee Hotel is in a good location within walking distance of the station and Ol Town. It includes bteakfast which is goodand thw rooms were afequate for our purpose.iwould recommend this hotelto others
Hotel location is on Main Street, (little hard to locate, due to signage as well as having to walk through a mall like entrance to reach reception and rooms). Nice breakfast and close to a metro station in catching train to airport.
A hidden gem, right on Wenceslas Square. Full breakfast included, rooms clean and updated, extremely friendly staff! Can't say enough good about it, lots of shops and restaurants just steps outside your door. Very safe to walk around even at night, plenty of other tourists out too.
overall the hotel is in perfect location and good value for money but the receptionist in the checkout was very bad and rude
he call us for checkout at 12 and i asked him is it ok to have late checkout at 1.30 pm he told us ok no problem and at checkout he asked for extra money for late checkout ... i told him why you Didn't tell me on the phone that i will pay extra?? his answer was so rude that we are idiots as any late checkout is for extra so we refuse to pay as it wasn't our 1st time in Prague so he started to talk in aggressive way until we asked to talk with the manager to tell him its his fault as he didn't tell us about the extra cost on the phone so he say its ok and we didn't pay for it
Friendly and helpful reception staff. Decent clean room although not as warm as I would have liked in January and the bed was creaky. Breakfast had a range of hot and cold options and set me up for the day. Tricky to fond the entrance though because it is down a little shopping prcinct and the signs are list among a mass of larger neons for other places. Look out for Luxor and you’ll be in the right area.
apartment was very comfortable and spacious. staff were friendly and always helpful.

The hotel position is excellent the room are big the problems was the beds are too soft, no new bedding changed for the three days, not all the towels in the shower room has been changed and remain wet,
We have not complained due to our short state
Hotel Elysee was centrally and very conveniently located. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, one of the best I’ve had. Service is excellent. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Great value and highly recommended.
The perfect place to use as a base to explore Prague on foot. Close to the Central Railway station and right in the middle of Wenceslas Square. Lovely friendly staff, good breakfast room and offering, our apartment we spacious and very comfortable.
Hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. Excellent location. Close to train station, museum, Wenceslas Square and shopping. It’s right where you want to be.
This is a great place except parking. They say they have parking but only two spots did guests. That being said we found parking off the street. It wasn’t that hard. It’s a 20 minute walk from the Charles abridge and the center of town is literally down the way. There are so many restaurants and everyone at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here. Bonus: AC in the rooms. We were freezing. It was amazing. Not common in Europe
Location is excellent for everything , trams, metro, old square, Wenceslas Square etc

Good stay in Prague
This hotel is right on St. Wenceslas square, so location is great! No bells and whistles, but perfectly fine for our use. Breakfast pretty good, typical European. Not overly friendly, but not rude. Good value for price. Walked everywhere!
Stayed for 2 days, close to train station to walk, hotel was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, majority of hotel staff helpful - booking tours and directions
Good rooms and excellent location with really friendly staff.

Property is located along the main Boulevard about a 5 minute walk from the Museum (and Metro stop). This makes it convenient to use public transport to train (1 metro stop) or the A line to an easy connection with bus 119 for airport service. I believe I paid about $8 for a 24 hour pass. Also City Center and Castle just a few stops away.
Room was small but had it’s own bathroom. Rating primarily reflects the comfort of the bed (very firm) and pillows (too soft) which made difficult to sleep comfortably. Otherwise no complaints. This was a last minute booking and it did the trick for one night.
The photos of the rooms on website certainly do not depict the room we stayed in. We had a room with a double bed and single bed - beds were comfortable Enough.. We arrived late - Room was not warm , no working tv, long blonde hairs all over the dresser. There were long black hairs in the double bed. The shower had a little bit of black mould and the water temp kept changing from cold to warm during shower. Towels were tiny couldn’t wrap round my body and it was freezing getting out the shower. Hotel
Is advertised as 4 star. Not a 4 star experience. I didn’t stay for breakfast so can’t comment on that. Has to pay a hotel tax on check out - wasn’t aware of any additional Charge to pay. The location of the hotel was pretty good - although went out to buy bottles 2 small cold bottles of water and was charged 160 corona (equivalent to about 5 British pounds sterling) now that was a rip off - but that’s nothing to do with the hotel.
Maybe we just had a bad room in the hotel and the rest or nice - but based on my experience I wouldn’t renmend and certainly wouldn’t stay here again.
