We do agree our rooms are cozy, the building was built in a time where it was common to have smaller rooms because people did not require the space they do now. We do not have an elevator, as we indicate on all our 3rd party sites, so be sure to book a first floor room if stairs would be an issue. We will definitely check out the lock on your guest room and see if there is any maintenance required, thank you for letting us know. All of our rooms have self-controlled air conditioning/heat, you may have needed to switch something on the control panel on your unit but our guests have full control over the units in their room. We always encourage our guests to call our 24 hour front desk at any time with a question or issue. Our apologies the ice machine was slow to give ice, we are having that looked at but always feel free to call the front desk for ice and we will be more than happy to get some from the kitchen. We do hope you will visit us again!

We do lock our side entrance at 9 pm as most of our guests have checked in at that point, however, please rest assure there are eyes on the entrance/exit doors even when you do not realize it.
