Isle of Skye Guest house

"We stayed in the garden suite and had a lovely stay for 2 nights. The room was spacious, the mattress was comfortable and the water pressure was great. The provided breakfast was minimal, but was a nice touch. We found the price a bit high for what we got (although, the price was far more reasonable compared to many hotels on the Isle of Skye) and the location was a bit far and remote, so we had to do additional driving to get to sites/restaurants, etc."

"The staff could not have been more helpful. I had an issue with my booking (through the booking agent) and the lady at reception was so very professional and courteous and had it sorted in no time. You are an asset to the Dunollie Hotel at Broadford on Isle of Skye. My room was very clean and comfortable. The Bar Was well stocked and the service was very pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was A1. Thankyou to everyone .I could not recommend it highly enough"

"We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. While the property is older, it is well maintained and has been kept in excellent condition. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit, making us feel right at home. The location is another major advantage, with convenient access to dining. The dinner was very good. Overall, this hotel offers a comfortable stay, great service, and an excellent location. We would happily stay here again."

"The only thing I did not like about this property is that my room had. I black out curtains. Which meant that every day I was woken up by the light at around 4:5-5 am. When the sun came up. One would think that the managers of this property would be sensitive to this since the sun comes up very early around 5 months per year. Otherwise good experience overall. The front desk was very helpful!"

"A busy local pub with simple clean basic rooms, ‘Hotel’ is a bit rich. Overwhelmed by tourism on. Friday night with a heaving bar, live music and constant stream of people looking for supper, it’s heroic staff were great. As a resident I was found a very late sitting supper which was expensive and of modest quality. The rooms have cardboard walls. Breakfast was well served but again very modest, no fresh fruit, yoghourt one waitress. Clean, good staff, but poor value for money"

The Skye Inn

"The Skye Inn was a guesthouse at hotel prices. The restaurant was closed the breakfast while good was slow and the staff in their own words were “distracted” Basically it seemed that the student aged staff were operating the Skye Inn without adult management. Perhaps as the season was just starting they were all new on their jobs but the place missed having an experienced adult in charge"
