Was staying the night with a couple of friends before leaving for Seattle in the morning. Staff were very nice, room was clean, without any smell and pleasing to the eye. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and tasty.

The ability to have dinner in walking distance was great. Full parking lot due to a show nearby was inconvenient.

Staff was kind and prompt. Check in and out was super easy. All the stores and shows are accessible from inside which is wonderful if its raining. Water pressure in the room wasnt the best, lots of water sputtering and spray. Shower temp stayed hot for a decent time which was nice

The accommodations were clean and staff friendly. Had the free breakfast in the bar one morning and enjoyed the Bloody Mary with my meal. All conveniences you could want under one roof. Would stay there again.

Nice hotel with great amenities. It’s out of the way in an industrial area so not much within walking distance. The hotel is built into a single complex with a restaurant, bar, 24 convenience store, movie theatre & several other stores & services which was very convenient. The complimentary breakfast is served at the restaurant and the portion sizes are massive, really puts most other free hotel breakfasts to shame. I enjoyed my stay, no real complaints.

I took an American Cruise Line Cruise from Lewiston, ID to Portland, OR and decided to stay in Portland for a few more days. I feel blessed the Expedia recommended this hotel. The rooms are clean and inviting. The staff is friendly and helpful. This hotel is located at a truck stop and has multiple restaurants and services. I LOVE this place as it is convenient, safe and a fantastic value. It even has a nightclub where country music singers cut their teeth. The restaurant has excellent food and I promise you that you will be full. The portions are very large. If I could give 10 stars I would do so!

Very comfortable, quiet, and convenient to all that we were doing. Nice conveniences on the ground floor of the hotel. Located at a truck stop but definitely did not have a truck stop feel once inside. Very good cooked breakfast included, and we even had a nice dinner there in the evening.

I had never been to this property since the remodel. Had stayed at other properties nearby and never felt the equipment in vehicles was safe. Stayed for two nights at the Portlander and could not have been happier nor felt safer. Everything was clean and orderly, the staff was tremendous in all ways. It was nice just to feel comfortable. This is not a five star property. This is a truck stop location in North Portland and the area does have the homeless camps in the area. But from being greeted at the front desk to the restaurant and sandwich shop to the amenities they have it was ideal for the average person. I have stayed in 5 stars at airport that were way less than the Portlandier. Will gladly go back again.

Don't be fooled by "this is a truckstop". It is a wonderfully run, clean and very safe hotel. their free breakfast is HUGE with lots of options and great servie, their bar has a fantastic happy hour and the rooms are squeaky clean with gread beds and linens. Incredible value for the price. Were worried a bit about vehicle security (this is Portland, so...) but they have security. Their shuttle driver was great and they even saved us an Uber ride by taking us to a concert nearby. Wish more places were like this.

We wished we could have stayed longer. The staff was so kind and helpful. Loved the spa tub in our room, the lounge, the food, the market, and the movie theater. It was a unique hotel stay and we will definitely be back.

I was a little concerned when arriving in the area where the hotel was located; however the hotel was very clean, staff was extremely courteous and helpful and the restaurant had delicious food. The fact that here was a little market inside the hotel was a bonus. We would definitely stay at the Portlander again.

This motel was actually part of a huge truck stop, providing services like mail, laundromat, dining, convenience store, TSA pre check, and more to truckers. Every morning at 7:00, so many trucks would move on. It was convenient but noisy. The room was excellent and remodeled,and we came down to the restaurant for our breakfast which was included in the hotel.

Portlander Inn is part of a village of shops, accomodations & eateries. Our hearts sunk as we neared the truck stop; we had in our mind a completely different experience. We really enjoyed the clean facilities, friendly staff, and variety of dining options. We will stay here again.

You could smell the gas station our room overlooked. The breakfast advertised that was included was minimal and greasy. Hotel is at a truck stop and so many homeless camps when you turn off the highway.

This hotel was very clean, breakfast was hot and made to order, lots of amenities downstairs, convenient off the highway and had lots of available parking. Great price & safe. We didn’t get there in time, or we would have also watched a movie too. Great place for families wanting to visit Portland or Vancouver WA but not stay in a busy downtown.

We just stayed there one night but would definitely would have stayed longer. Decided to stay there since they were semi close to the airport and they could watch my truck. The Portlander Inn exceeds expectations. Stayed in 3 hotels on our 10 day trip and the Portlander Inn was the best. Clean, quiet and pleasant.

We really liked that the hotel was at the end of a small mall. There were a couple of sub shops, a small drug/misc.store, a small movie theater, a couple of restaurants, and best of all there was a coffee shop, too! Great set up!

Front desk staff was very friendly on check in. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Loved the bar/grill connected to the hotel for a late night bite. The included breakfast at the hotel restaurant was an added bonus. Highly recommend this place to stay.

I apologize that there was confusion regarding breakfast during your stay. If you order from the regular restaurant menu and not the hotel breakfast menu, there are additional charges.
