First off, the property wasn't as advertised. The front desk clerk was very standoffish to my daughters. We we told that the pool and Hot tub were closed due to a leak in the room. The pool was a dark green in color. When we got into the room, the door looked as though it has been recently forced open, the repair and condition of the door was bad, and the lock barely worked, the wifi didn't work/exist, the beds were uncomfortable, the in room phone didn't work at all, the TV had no channels to view, and there were no toiletries stocked in the room, other than towels. Hot water was not great, but at least that worked.
We stayed the first night, determined to transfer to another property, and seek a refund for the remainder of our visit.
Next morning: no continental breakfast, no coffee, no juice... nothing. When I asked the clerk about this, I was told to give it 5 min. I came back 30 min later, still within the service hours, and nothing. Was told that if I didn't like it, that I could check out...NOW, with no refund.
I paid 226.71 for this hotel, plus another 171.00 for another hotel for the rest of the weekend.
I've filed complaints with Windham, Hotels.com, and my bank. I look forward to seeing what everyone does. I would NEVER recommend this property for any reason whatsoever. I would love to attach pictures, but I'm not able to at this time.
