"We went away for a night from Sydney and had been to the anchorage previously however it was a long time ago so we were blown away by the changes to the property, the interior design in the bar was lovely and appropriate for the location and star level of the hotel.
A couple of observations that we could make would be that the bed was a queen and was with two mattresses, one mattress appeared to have lost some of its springs so needed replacing, the service in the bar was a bit slow and seemed to not be able to cope with the demands of happy hour and a long weekend.
In addition to the above we did the wellness room for two people. The infra-red sauna was not warm enough and the steam room appeared to have a problem with the thermostat as when you were seated it was not warm enough either. A cold plunge pool would be a welcome addition.
This is not faults with the hotel more just these tweaks would have made it an exceptional stay,
We are well travelled overseas so have seen quite a lot to compare with and in Italy some exceptional wellness retreats."
