What the listing for this charmless place doesn’t say is that (a) it’s on a noisy busy road, (b) the restaurant is not open daily and there’s nowhere eat nearby and (c) the hotel is unstaffed so any issue has to be dealt with remotely. Rooms are tiny and cell-like.
Amazing value!! Comfortable rooms, Friendly atmosphere, English spoken making us foreigners feel very welcome. The restaurant is is the amazing part, the daily menu is superb supported by an a’la carte menu!! The only negative......the restaurant is closed Sunday & Monday. A great experience as usual!!
Very nice, cosy hotel in a relaxing location on the Rhone. Hotel manager kept in touch with us well before the stay and check in was smooth. 10:30am check out is slightly early, but great experience overall.
Take a note of the door code - there is no reception, just let yourself in and collect your key from the table!
Room exactly as pictured, clean and relatively comfortable. No bath, if this is a problem for you (we didn't mind).
Food excellent, and really good value set dinner menu! Breakfast also great - fresh, good choice standard county breakfast served at your table.
Very pleasant staff, and a smart-looking place. But the upstairs floor shook whenever anyone used the stairs or landing. The view across the road to the Rhone with mountains beyond was spectacular - so why obscure it with a curtain fixed to the window?
