Our best holiday
Our family got to visit Time Out bach for the 2nd time, and this stay was even better than the first. The bach is so homey, comfortable, kid & dog friendly, and of course has the best sea views! Beach combing amongst the rock pools at low tide was our familys favourite pasttime, but we also took advantage of the swimming, playing in the estuary/stream, hiking the cliffs walk, and playing lots of outdoor games in the huge backyard. We wished we couldve stayed another week!

Beach relax
Lovely property, great location, quiet and peaceful. The dreadful weather and it's impact on the access road meant we had to cut our visit short. Will definitely return when no rain and roads fixed.

Great family get away
Beautiful spot view of the sea from the house was amazing. The house had everything we needed and really comfortable beds. We normally go camping but this was so must more less stressful. Thanks again hope to stay again soon.

Getting away from it all
Great place to visit. Quiet and isolated which was just what we wanted. Great time playing board games, and sitting by the fire. Excellent bach. Would happily stay here again in future.

Just sublime!! The bath was incredible with everything you’d need for a great few days at the beach. Best part is, it’s pet friendly so our fur baby could come with us. Thank you for a wonderful time away with our family 💖

The best week away
Our family came for an early xmas holiday. There was 5 adults a teen and 1 year old, and all our dog. Everyone had the best time. The house has everything. And the guys cought heaps of crays and paua. The dogs loved it!. (We have never been able to take them on holiday before, so that was awesome). The house is so warm, even with there was a bit of wind and rain. The kayaks were well used. And the veiw is amazing. Thank you so much

Some seriously wet and windy weather hit the few days we were here but with the fire going we were cosy. We just enjoyed being away from home and watching the weather and the sea. For lots of books read and watched some nostalgic dvds. Despite the weather we still enjoyed the get away and quill consider another visit in the spring or summer.

Perfect spot for Time Out
This was such a perfect spot to get away and just chill. Sitting in the cosy lounge on a winters day by the warm fire, looking out to the waves crashing on the beach made it all the more relaxing. The home felt very homely and was well set out with everything you could need. The only downside was getting to the house, there was a lot of damage along the way to the roads, some parts we were worried if it rained much more would we be able to get out as we didnt have a 4 wheel drive. We understand the recent flooding through region has eroded the roads. I will definietly book this place again.

Perfect break
Beautifully clean and well appointed bach. Great to be able to bring the dog along, altho he did figure out a couple of spots to get out! Stunning coastline to explore at low tide. Perfect place to rest and reset.

Fabulous place
What a fantastic Bach - so quiet and peaceful and direct access to a lovely beach. So nice to be able to take our dogs too, there’s even a kennel. The Bach is very well equipped, has comfy beds and sofas and there is a 2nd bathroom in a separate cabin. We would definitely stay here again.

Love this Bach! We try to get here several times in a year. Our group is 6 adults and there is always plenty of room to spread out with a bonus outdoor bathroom! The weather has never let us down yet in all the years we have been coming, its very sheltered from the wind and the swimming is great. Everything you need is here for a great kiwi Baching holiday.

A place named Time Out that truly lived up to its name. Beautiful and tranquil with the beach just at the bottom of the garden. Great accommodation and facilities. The beds were very comfortable.

The perfect cozy getaway
We loved our stay at "Time Out." The Bach is super family friendly and incredibly cozy during the rainy days or cool evenings. The yard itself has heaps of room for the kids to run around in or toss a ball, plus loads of lovely toys and games inside. The large back deck is great for dining outside and also enjoying your morning coffee whilst taking in the sea view. It's just a quick walk to the beach, and though the water was very cold this time of year, we all enjoyed playing in the sand, the river inlet, and searching for shells amongst the rock pools. Stunning views all around. Super quiet and peaceful. We loved it all.

A wonderful place to ‘get away from it all’ 😊

Remote and peaceful settlement, right next to the beach!
Great stay! For a family with four boys, including newborn twins, it was really handy to be able to walk to the beach. The lagoon offered a safe place to swim when the swell was up at the beach. The rocks are also a great place to explore too during low tide.

Great place for a holiday of swimming - walking - reading and relaxing.
Everything we could have wanted. Close to safe swimming beach - gorgeous surrounds with Pohutukawa and hebe flowering - tūī and bellbird singing . Lots to do but also a lovely spot to read and relax. Outdoor shower was awesome post twice daily swims and boogie boarding. Homely place to hang and loved that everything was there for our dog so he could be with us.

Great kiwi experience, reminds us of how we spent the holidays growing up. Very lucky to have a Bach like this made available. There’s always surf and the seafood is great just of the reef. This is a comfortable Bach that’s really well equipped. Already been twice and will definitely use again. Fantastic spot!

The Bach was the perfect spot to have a couple of days away with the family. We enjoyed the beautiful beach and the kids loved the stream. Great for fishing and a friendly neighbour gave us a crayfish from their catch. Will definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic girls weekend getaway - away from the crowds. Nothing to fault with this home - so warm and homely and welcoming - literally like walking into your own home with everything you need at your disposal. A short walk to the beach at the bottom of the garden, amazing beach and wee hill climb to blow away the cobwebs and chillax! Would definitely go back again

A relaxing stay at the beach mid-winter. The fire kept us very warm. Enjoyed the walk along the beach and up the hill. Adequate entertainment for the kids. And kitchen had all we needed to make some tasty meals.

A perfect spot to unwind and recharge the batteries. We come back every year for a mini winter break
We have rented this property several times and it’s become a home from home for us. We bring our dogs and they love the freedom of the beach and the garden. It’s as much their holiday as it is ours. We’ll continue to come back for our mid winter recharge. We love it.
