We live locally and rented a room to have a birthday party and access to the pool. The pool was great but the room was not as enjoyable. The beds weren’t comfortable and the shower had black mold in it so no one could shower after swimming. It would get more stars if the hotel was in better up-keep and newer beds.

I stay here every time I’m in town, because of the employees & the beds. Rooms are out dated & the rooms need to be painted or drywall repaired. This time our toilet did not flush on the 1st try. Overall it was a minor inconvenience & the rest makes up for it.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! The room was super clean. We really enjoyed the ability to walk into the atrium and go swimming in pool that’s a perfect temperature!! The staff was great! We will definitely stay here again next time we pass through Pocatello ☺️

I paid cash for the hotel night. I was required to give a $100 deposit. On the sheet I signed for it said a $40 deposit. I changed it to a $100 deposit. Suggestion to update your sheets to $40 for credit card or $100 for cash.

Our bedding had uriun stains in the comforter and floor had pizza crust under bed transfer to next room over and dirty kids socks left in closet and floor dirty hair in tub I am not a complainer at all but this I had to report the front desk employee was very understanding and apologized we stayed in second room cause the kids were getting restless didn't want to keep moving .the pool was a little to cold for the kids the food was good .

Not willing to accommodate requests such as joining rooms when requested. Also don’t come as a family. You will get complaints called on you for having an infant that cry’s. Also you must not close the bathroom door as it it very loud and you will get complaints about that as well. Basically tie your kids down and don’t let them touch anything.

This hotel room was dirty unpon checkin, furniture was broken, a/c wouldn't turn off, floors were dirty, garbage was left. I told the property at check in and asked for a refund on the second night and they agreed as long as I did it through expedia. Witha day and a half of run around from both expedia and the HotelI was told I wouldn't get a refund! VERY DISSAPOINTING, WON'T BE USING EXPEDIA OR RED LION AGAIN!

Beds had sand and hair in them. Sheets were not clean. There was a Christmas party going on (a month after Christmas) well past midnight, and the manager did nothing to quiet them down, despite many rooms being able to hear the music and noise.

The heater unit in our room had to be shut off because it sounded like it was going to blow up. The unit I. The room sounded like a tank rolling down the freeway and we were told nothing could be done. The sheets had previous renters hair all over and was just plain dirty. We were told housekeeping would come change them and at three am no one had shown up. The receptionist at check I. Was amazing and very helpful but the hotel looked unkept, no plug for the tub, dirty towels and more. We were visiting for a cheer competition and were highly disappointed in this hotel and at the cost of a three star and looks of a one star

I now understand the cheap price.
My wife and i were looking for a quiet getaway, but with the laminate flooring and thin walls, we may as well have been in the room next door or the hallway. The echo was ridiculous, and we could hear people talking at all hours. My morning shower was less than pleasant, as the shower head is completely plugged up. To top it off, vending machine was broken and dead bugs were all over the room.

Had a great stay. Dog enjoyed it too.
It was wonderful. I was disappointed about not having coffee set up in the lobby in the morning. My room only had decaf and when I went to the lobby they did not have it there. It was offered in the breakfast room but at 9:00 AM they were closed. I had a very nice stay. Pool was fun with the kids.

Red Lion in Poki
I think the hotel is Fair and in decent shape however it is dated. Our stay was for 2 nights and we did not rent a car so the convenience of the Red Lion is it's close to alot of things. I mean literally walking distance. We would stay there again.
