Terrible experience. I rented 2 rooms, for my wedding party to get ready in for my downtown wedding. We got our keys mixed up and couldn’t get into our rooms at the end of the night. We had our wedding party sitting outside of our rooms waiting to get in to gather their things to leave at the end of the night and were followed my security through out the building like we were doing something wrong. We were told “you can’t have people hangout outside of your room”, meanwhile they were just waiting to be able to get into the room to gather their things. The overnight front desk guy was very rude and was making a big fuss about giving us new keys when none of our keys would work at this point. Also Expedia and the Etage website did not mention there would be a daily parking fee which I was also dissatisfied with. I also split the payment up into 2 on Expedia and the first payment did come out of my account but then at check in I was told I had paid nothing yet. So it’s up to the hotel to accept the payment from Expedia which they didn’t for either room. I didn’t realize the money from the first payment had gone back into my account. So don’t split your payments up because they won’t put it through. If your looking for a longer stay I would say this would be a good place because I feel like it’s more people who reside here full time verse short term stays.

Great hotel for families. It is not Ritz but excellent. I had a corner 2 bedroom. The shades do not seal., but they can darken the windows. Lots of windows and great views. There are street noises.

Check in was the fastest and easiest I’ve experienced. Room was massive and loft like feeling, huge full size kitchen, large bathroom, shower was awesome, plenty of room for clothes, nice washer and dryer and comfy bed. This is apparently more for long term than short term stays so there was no cleaning of our room for our two day stay. There is a public garage attached to the building which was very convenient. The concierge tried to get us to pay for it through the hotel rather than directly to the garage which would have been considerably more expensive. There was no where to eat breakfast it seems close by. But the rooms are large, well designed with full kitchens and great storage space and a wonderful shower. And the price was very good. So all in all it was a find for our needs.

We chose this hotel because the rooms are large, include kitchens, bedrooms and floor to ceiling windows along with a great games room and amazing rooftop basketball court. It was also very close to the stadiums and hockey rink. Perfect location. Staff weren't the warmest to children playing in the games room without an adult present. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived and then was suddenly changed to a different floor hours later. We would absolutely stay there again.

the best bang for your buck downtown! shows some wear and tear in some areas, but it was clean and safe. the apartment style room was excellent. i looked for a month before booking anywhere and am glad i chose etage. a short walk to pnc park, with a huge restaurant choice close by. getting to and from the facility to park was a breeze. 30.00 a day to park, but nothing you can do about it downtown. everywhere is going to charge at least that much. this will be my go to anytime i am back in town.

Mike - check in. Super efficient upon check in, courteous. Room was great. We were on the 11th floor which gave us access to the lounge / game room and the lounge on the 12th floor. Access to the outside, rooftop hoop court was awesome. Parking is $30/night, thought it was included in the booking price but not. We walked to: Mt. Washington, Duquesne Incline, Strip District, PPG arena. Great spot for our stay in Pittsburgh.

Overall it was a fantastic stay. The location couldnt get much better. If there were any negatives at all our bathroom floor was not clean. But it was a very minor inconvenience and was an easy fix. We will for sure be back.

This was an excellent conversion from an old parking garage to apartments. We really didn't expect just the studio apartment to be so large. One comment, there were no chairs. Had 3 barstools at the island and the futon and chaise lounger type thing in the living room but not one chair. Not even on upper loft where there was a desk, but no chair. Just seemed odd. Otherwise, would definitely stay there again.
