I don’t know what these other reviews are talking about. But I do not recommend this hotel. Full YouTube video will be uploaded may 1st @beersandbeaches. Great pool and great gym. Other than that. The breakfast is terrible and the hotel is all the way in the back makes it difficult to get to the main road. It’s just a hassle. They do offer a golf cart that takes you to the road but you end up eating 10-20 minutes each way. They need so attention here. This was such a hassle especially in April during the hottest season. Also the TV doesn’t have channels. What’s the point of a big tv if no channels. Also the room in Expedia looked amazing. In real life it was like WISH or TEMU. Plus so many mosquitos. Be careful with this one. I recommend OZO near by.

Regarding transportation to the main road, we understand your concerns and are continuously working to improve our services in this particular area.Regarding the TV channels, we are currently looking into improving and providing different entertainment options, if you have any insight of what you would prefer to have available (streaming options, etc.) it would be much appreciated as we are trying to find the best solution. Regarding mosquitoes, we'd like to clarify that Thailand naturally has many mosquitoes due to its lush vegetation, and that is not different with the environment of our hotel as we try to keep nature mixed in with the experience. We do provide mosquito repellent in rooms to help mitigate this issue, but if you have other ideas you would suggest that we implement please feel free to share them.We once again value your feedback a lot and will use it to enhance our services. Excellent facility for swimming and fun! We had a swim up room and that was a hit! The only downside was the food. Breakfast was just okay, lots of options, but didn’t taste great. Orderable food was expensive compared to the street and not as tasty.

Amazing resort, felt very high end and comfortable. All included amenities. Breakfast buffet was very nice, poool was gorgeous. Staffs english level was very below average but we got there most of the time in terms of communication. Room service unfortunately was not 24/7 but the streets never sleep so it was a great opportunity to go out more and stay out longer. Overall best hotel I have ever stayed out, I booked well in advance and it was very affordable, highly recommend you book early.

The hotel is very pleasant. Clean and modern rooms and very spacious. Access to the pool from your own terrace is fantastic. In fact the freeform pools winding throughout the buildings is the best thing about the property. Rooms were generally quite clean but not perfect. Also towels left for collection were often not replaced when the room was cleaned, depending on who cleaned the room. I had to call reception almost every night to have my aircon reset, as it would turn itself off each evening. Breakfast was pleasant but nothing special. Staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel is a short walk from the main road but staff were always happy to run you down or back again in good buggys. Check in was probably the lowest point. Not much greeting and then they ask you for 3000 baht security deposit instead of just authorising your credit card (which is odd and a little annoying as upon check out you end up with all this baht which isn’t helpful if you’re on your way out of Thailand) and they also give you a sheet full of hotel information to absorb in a hurry - which isn’t available in the rooms. After a long flight and long drive to the hotel it’s hard to remember. Overall I enjoyed my stay though and would recommend the hotel.

Beautiful hotel (stayed in a private bungalow with pool access for context). Pool in that area is picturesque, rooms are well appointed and very well maintained. Only thing I would offer as feedback is to try to orient large families with kids away from the more private sections of the hotel- end of stay we had a loud family right across the pool from our room waking up at 8am and screaming… not the hotel’s fault but maybe something to take into consideration as able as where guests are placed. Overall was a great stay and very easy access to the town and beach

Hotel room was excellent as well as staff service. Breakfast could have wider variety but what is available is nice. Great location with plenty of options of restaurants within walking distance. Beach is a longer walk than thought but not a major issue.

An absolutely stunning hotel in a walkable neighbourhood. The room was spacious with high end finishes, mattress was comfortable, and the fitness center/gym exceeded expectations. The beach shuttle is an added bonus!

The property is lovely and as advertised. There are beautiful pools with a lazy river running throughout the resort, which is very family friendly. The breakfast buffet is huge and wide-ranging and the staff is, to a person, friendly and helpful. We would definitely return to Metadee should we ever be in Phuket again.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Stayed in a junior suite with direct pool access via private stairs. The service was great, the room was brilliant and the pool I’m still dreaming about! Only slight criticism I have is that they didn’t restock the mini bar at all and meant that someone had to go and check the room on the last day to check what we’d had. This delayed check out and would’ve been nice to have it restocked daily, as the information said it would be.

Horrible from the start to end. Unfriendly and uncooperative staffs from onset and to the time of check out. Room was presented something that was not paid for. Constant noise in the evening especially when you are trying to catch up some sleep. Buildings are very dated and need some TLC. The manager on the day was very unreceptive and very vocal about his own judgment then being considered about customers needs. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

The staff and room were amazing. We stayed in a bungalow with private pool which was perfect. The room was spacious and clean, although the beds were your typical, make my arms fall asleep hard. The pool was lovely and clean, well maintained for the most part. The gym was ancient and crowded with archaic machines that do not work. The breakfast was substandard, even the pastries and fruit were dried out. That said, the hotel is in a fairly quiet but convenient location as long as you don’t get stuck at the back near the construction.

Great stay
Metadee is in a great location, very walkable. Staff is friendly and the pool is nice. The room we stayed in was huge and our private pool was awesome. The breakfast could have been better but overall we had a great experience.

Good option for a stay in Kata
I like the rooms. The bathroom is very spacious. Pool was great and clean. One opportunity was with the room service (cleaning) because they only made the bed and nothing else.
