"On our first day coming back from site seeing we found that our room was not serviced we had to go and complain, room was full of spider web. second day the lights went off from 7pm till 12pm no one bothered to explain what was happening bring us candles we used our cell phones to light the room @10:30 we called the manager who told us that Eskom is busy fixing it then we asked for candles he brought them @ 11H00 coz he was out. Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming especially Musa."

"We were delighted by our stay at Sungulwane. The property is beautiful. The chef is phenomenal. Our guide in game drives, Daniel, was extremely passionate and knowledgeable, and a wonderful story teller. We saw all but the loeopard of the big 5, but we also saw a cheetah and had a great lion sighting. "

"It was hard to find. Our GPS didn't know the way. The gate was in a very remote place. We thought we are completely wrong. But after calling the owner, everything was very nice. They cooked dinner for us and we had a nice talk with the owner. The stay was very enjoyable."

"Individual rooms in a beautiful garden setting. Comfortable, with small kitchenette - ideal for making a simple meal and then sitting and eating on the verandah outside. The owners were very helpful with advice on the broad area. The Hluhluwe reserve's Memorial Gate is not far - about 20 minutes drive away, making the Lodge convenient for your visit."

"Petite chambre sympathique, nous avons bien dormi. Le logement est idéalement situé à 2km du parc Hluhluwe, un gros plus ! Cependant, la peinture venait d'être refaite et l'odeur était extrêmement présente. La cuisine était d'une propreté à revoir... bel endroit extérieur pour dîner. Bien pour 1 seule nuit."

"Unfortunately the renovation spoilt our stay. It clearly stated on the web site renovations were completed. It indicates wifi available in rooms...it was not. When we asked the receptionist she was surprised and said she would send someone to sort it out. My husband had a conference call at 1am....never got assistance. The door to cabin didn't fit the frame. Bathrooms desperate for up grade. Staff in dining room great and food was very nice. Guide Lucky very friendly. Would we go back...not...
