There are only two rooms at the Queen Anne - ground floor, motel-like rooms at the back of the pub. These were small but neat, with all amenities. The proximity to the pub, which has great food, was a plus, as was the quiet location. Even though the pub was busy, noise did not spill over to the rooms.
We spent two nights at Rushop Hall. We stayed in the house and had the Needham room. It was very comfortable, nice comfy bed, lovely hot shower with nice soft white towels! Jan and Neil made our stay very pleasant and were excellent hosts. They served a very nice wholesome breakfast and couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely recommend this B & B. It is in a very quite area and ideal if you just want time to chill out or spend your time walking.
Probably the best B&B we've staid at! Plenty of places - pubs & chippies - serving excellent fare.
Tideswell quite, but having the feel of a 'lived in' village. Centrally placed giving easy access to both White & Dark Peak areas of Derbyshire.
We'll certainly be back!
From the moment we arrived we were given a very warm welcome and made to feel at home away from home, and throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble for Diane. The room was quiet, comfortable and had everything you could ask for. The breakfast was absolutely; pretty much whatever you like, cooked to order for you each morning. Wonderful stay and wish we could have stayed longer!
Had a great time at The George. Remarkably good breakfast included with room rate: full cooked breakfast menu with access to a buffet of cereals and fresh pastries provided. We were in a Superior Room which had a fantastic bathroom for a hotel of this standard. Room was large and it was very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.
