The property burnt to the ground in May, 2019. We were never notified. Luckily I checked the website the week before we needed it and found out what happened.

It had a fire, my reservation was switched to the Days Inn, and I was not notified. Had I not called to confirm my reservation I would not have know and would have been a little upset when I arrived and a burned out hotel.

We are truly sorry that you were not notified. Since the fire several of us have been working desperately to contact as many people as we can. Unfortunately ALL of our records were lost in the fire. If you know of anyone who may have future reservations with us, please have them call. Again, we are very sorry for your inconvenience and hope you were able to relax while you were here.

Lighting in room so dim, could not read books ! room was very cold, with no directions to operate. (This was noted for review our last time we visited) Spoke to mgr. who called repair. Repair arrived and adjusted for heat required. Said everything would be fine, and would check back later .The heat went up 3 degrees from sub 70. Then regress back down so we froze again !!!

It’s was nice enough, I slept well,could hear people in room next to me,don’t use other facilities so no complaints, great location,only had coffee but substantial breakfast to choose from. Price was reasonable for room.

I loved the pool and the dim lighting also music playing that was relaxing. My omly comllaint was parking.. i had to park my car halfway on the sidewalk, and the other half in the driveway. Very frustrating. Other than that inwas very pleased with my stay.

Thank you for reviewing our hotel. We are sorry that the parking situation was such a mess. With the excessive snowfall this winter much of our parking lots are consumed by snowbanks. We moved as much as we could to create the parking we did have. Normally, parking is not an issue at our hotel.

We all slept very comfortably in the hotel room that appeared very nice and clean. My kids were hapoy with the ammenities including the wifi and the breakfast the next day. They were very happy there were waffles😌

We had to clean our own room. Not only was there haor in the jacuzzi there was mildew soap scum rust just gross. Alarm clock was broke light bulbs burnt out tv didnt work. I took everything i cleaned out of the tub to management she couldn't look cause she has a weak stomach. For what they asked for room i got a 25$ refund. Baffled never stay here again and do NOT RECOMMEND

Nice staff. Clean room. In room coffee pot was dirty but we weren't using it anyway. Stayed after a ski trip.

Train your staff!
When we went down to the desk to ask how to get to the pool the girl working the desk told us how to get there which we had to go outside on the coldest day of the year so far to get to it. When we got down to the pool it was locked and all over the hotel it said the pool was open till 11 PM and it was only 10:30 PM. So my husband went back down there and asked the girl if she could open it up? So the handyman came and opened the pool and it wasn’t until we were in there that it said you had to get the towels at the front desk. So back down to the front desk my husband goes to get the towels. So my question is why didn’t the girl from the first time we asked her where the pool was at, Tell us that the pool was locked and be here are some towels for you because there are not any kept in the pool area?

Nice find
I was surprised how nice this hotel was. You can tell it was recently updated. Not a chain hotel just a nice priced local hotel that was clean and convenient. There was a MAJOR problem with our shower however I told them at check out and the clerk was very apologetic and was going to get it checked out. I would give it one more try before giving up on this place.

When we checked in the staff was very rude and short with us. His attitude changed the further we got through the check in process. Haven’t had any interaction with any of the other staff yet. Rooms are decent for the price we got them for. The pool is nice but the hot tube is a little lack of one.

Petoskey stay
No parking near building. I was not notified prior to arriving what a strange way of getting to the room We had to go up steps, down the sidewalk. Then go inside, down the hall (which smelled like fuel oil) then up another set of stairs. Then we had to go outside again.and down the walk to get to the room. The people were nice but would have loved some help with the trip to the room...maybe a map! Horrible linens.
