"I recently stayed at Poussada Porto and had a great experience. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean (although the room spray was a way too strong when we first entered, making us wondering why so much) and nicely decorated, making it a comfortable place to relax. "We crashed at the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes mid-afternoon after a morning exploring Guimaraes. We were almost at the end of our two-plus week trek. We were ready for down time. We spent a lovely afternoon walking the grounds, swimming in the beautiful pool [allowed though the pool wasn't yet officially open], having drinks on the terrace, and having dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was a delight."
