We have stayed before and the whole experience was a huge step down from before. The facility has aged and there appears to be no attempt to provide maintenance. The shower water turned off mid shower and when the water came back on it was cold. The 'free' breakfast was terrible and most we had to throw away. House keeping was only provided every 3 days and only on request . Won't be staying here ever again.

I suppose quality vs price was OK given the stay was on a Friday night. There is a nice Bar and Grill nearby across the street at the traffic light. Walkable.

Our room was very nice but first room nearest the front desk which made it a little noisy. On the down side, there was no hot water for morning showers. However, when I complained about it at checkout I was give a $20 discount for the inconvenience.

Staff are very polite and friendly. Local casino literally only 4 min drive on the same street. The property is older and decoration can use some update. Room is cleaned and comfortable. Nice restaurants nearby. Overall enjoyed the stay.

The hotel is probably the nicest in Payson but it still needs some work. The pool bars were loose and move which could cause an injury. I suggest requesting a room on the 3rd floor because the floor creeks very loud and you can hear every foot step.

It was advertised on their website that they had a shuttle to the casino. Well, no shuttle. We went down to use the hot tub. It was filthy dirty and the jets did not work. There is only one ice.machine and it was out of ice. The place definitely needs some work. The pool room floor and walls were disgusting. We will never stay there again.

Beware of the driveway, its steep and i banged up the skidplate of my car. It had me thinking i cracked the engine. Everything was clean, staff was friendly, but food was unappetizing. The room smelled was musty.

Check in was fine. Gentleman was nice checking us in. Property just needs some updating. The floors down the hallways have dips in them like they’re going to give way and it smelled different every time we walked in and out of our room. Sometimes like smoke. Sometimes like burning rubber. And many other smells. Never had that at a hotel before. It was strange. Otherwise overall not a terrible stay.

I was amazed at how clean my room was. Years ago I stopped staying at the Comfort Inn because of the deteriorating cleanliness. You have changed my opinion. Keep up the great effort you are doing.

Nice Getaway
We had a very nice stay here at the Comfort Inn in Payson, AZ. The people were all very nice. The beds were so comfortable & the breakfast was good as well.

Property is very nice a convenient to restaurants and such. I don't like the fact that these properties ask for your credit card for incidentals then charge it $175 without telling you that their charging that much. What if there wasn't that much on the card or what if that's all the money you had? Tell the people how much you are charging their card, that's all I ask. And bring your own Pillows. This place has the worst pillows ever.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Updated furniture and amenities. The AC unit was really loud but luckily I had ear plugs. The breakfast offerings were limited but tasty (English muffins, bagels, eggs, sausage patties, waffles. The only thing that I want to bring to their attention was a blood stain on the black out curtains. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.

Okay Hotel
This is an old hotel in an area where most of the hotels are older. Some things have been updated, and the bed was VERY comfortable. There's a sink outside the bathroom (tub and toilet in a separate little room). It does have a decent mini fridge and microwave. The condition of some areas of the room was "old and tired," and the elevator was dirty. Breakfast is the usual waffle, eggs, sausage, yogurt, juice. The room was not ready when we arrived half an hour before check-in, and they told us to come back in 45 minutes. We ate at the Mexican restaurant next door to the hotel, which was reasonably good. All in all, an okay hotel for one night. The wifi was sketchy at times for streaming, but fine for checking email and such.

Clean, simple, positive hotel
This was a pleasant stop to break-up a long drive home. Clean rooms, pleasant staff, easy access to highways, close to decent restaurants. I always like the breakfast- though I wish someone would give some thought to how the food buffet line is structured- it always seems clunky about how people make waffles, bagels-- with people hovering over each other. I also wish they wouldn't use powdered eggs. But small complaints for an otherwise positive experience.

A/C was not working properly in multiple rooms. Customer service was less than ideal when asked to change rooms or even for towels as rooms are not cleaned daily. Overall, not impressed with mostly with customer service and hotel accommodation.

Many of the lights in the room were burned out! The shower had no slip resistance stickers on the bottom of tub/shower. I was lucky that I was the one that slipped and not my disabled son who probably couldn’t get back up from the shower!

The hotel was OK, it was clean, the room was clean, but the carpets in the elevator and in the hallways look like they hadn't been shampooed in a very long time, way over due. Just gave the facility a very worn, shabby feel. Also, when we checked in the clerk was not very friendly at all, only gave very short 1 or 2 word answers, no smile, no extra talk. Not welcoming. And no water bottles in the room, we had to buy them from the vending machine at 2 bucks ea; and at the price of the room, which was not cheap, they could include a couple of bottles of water, especially in such a dry climate where it is important to stay hydrated. Come on, spring for a couple of bottles of water for your customers, it will cost you less than a buck, and is standard practice at most hotels I check into.
