That was our first visit to Paris. The villa Garibaldi is great located, very close to Eiffel Tower, metro stations, and local restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the triple room which we were booked was absolutely clean, and the beds were comfortable. I really recommend the Villa Garibaldi, Paris.

We arrived and went out to explore the city. On return we came back to find the bed had not been changed from the previous user. The bed was covered in black hair. I had to go to reception and they said it had been cleaned and the could not leave the reception to come and look. I had to get then to give me sheets and I went up to the room to change it and realised the new bedding I had been given was soiled so had to go down a further time and ask for clean bedding. It is unacceptable! You can forgive a lot in a hotel but an unclean bed is beyond a joke. I told reception in the morning and she didnt know about it and said there was a free breakfast as a gesture. I did not accept this as it is not a fair exchange! If a hotel cannot clean beds I would query the cleanliness of the food preparation! I feel robbed on this occasion and feel I deserve money back after not receiving the most basic service expected.

Hotel was great. Weird entrance area. Thought it was a hoax. But the actual hotel was nice. Hard bed though. The area is dirty and smelly until you walk about 20-30mins

The lobby is great and very cared for. Linens and towels of good quality. The room and bathroom were small, but ok for 2 nights. My issue is that I paid for a room with double bed and Eiffel Tower view (that's what the photos show), and I got two twin beds and no view. The employee (very friendly and helpful) told me only 1 room has that view, on the 6th floor, and was unavailable (we were put on the 2nd). Photos are misleading. If you plan to stay here, contact the property to make sure you'll have what is shown in the photos, and what is listed in the room description... Also, a lot of water was leaking from the shower to the bathroom floor, even with the shower door closed.

Honestly chose here for its proximity to places. Great location and easy walk to a bunch of nearby shops and restaurants. And about 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower! Room is average size, bathroom is a small. No AC but they do provide a fan and honestly leaving the windows open was a great help.

Nice property with a close 15-20min to the Eiffel Tower. Small rooms but clean. Courteous staff. Quiet street. Only downside was the building was extremely loud from within. We could hear word for word conversations in the rooms next door and the slamming doors were quite loud. Some good ear plugs would do the trick!

Newly refurbished, great location
Lovely hotel, easy to find with good transport links. The room appeared to have been newly refurbished and was lovely, but the bathroom/shower design meant that the floor was drenched when you showered. This issue will lift the floors before long. It was a nice treat to have wine & cheese in the early evening.

Great location 20 min from Eiffel Tower and the hotel staff were very friendly and polite. We had some issues with a clogged shower drain on our first night but they managed to move us to another bedroom the next day. During our stay in January, they were serving nice wine & cheese on the ground floor/bar - for free - between 6:30pm and 7:30pm for all guests. Good job! On the other hand, there is no bar fridge in the bedrooms and the beds could be a bit more comfortable for a hotel. In regards to the showers, the shower cubicle was really tiny but the water pressure was quite good.

They kept playing music in the hallway while we were trying to sleep. They turned it off when we asked. But turned it on again the next night.

The property is older and small, which was fine but the only room they offer that has 2 twin beds is on the 2nd floor and is very Very small. We travelled from Disneyland Paris to the Eiffel villa hotel and arrived in the evening around 5pm. I was traveling with a friend and the hotel room wasn’t set up for 2 twin beds like it should of been and the hotel room keys were not working properly, we had to redo our room keys three times to get them working properly, I think they must just use an old system as the hotel manager said that sometimes the keys can deactivate being next to your mobile phone. The property is nice and centrally located, which was great as we were using the metro a lot while in the city. The only things I was upset about was that there was on going construction in the hotel and we were awoken by construction noise in the morning for 3 out of the 5 days during our stay and also a painted headboard was in the hallway during our whole stay which made the entire floor smell like oil paint and was just Nauseating, just wish I was made aware that this construction would of been happening while I was there. The buffet breakfast was from 7am -10am and was included in our nightly rate and it was I believe 13€ if not but it was pretty much just a continental breakfast, cereal croissants and yogurt, they offered soft or hard boiled eggs but if you weren’t down there early enough they were gone and would bring out more, which I thought was odd but whatever.

Burgled there in the middle of the night.
We were burgled there. There are no security cameras on the building. The night guard was useless and didn't call the Police. He lied to us saying they wouldn't come. He delayed us. The service afterwards was terrible and the attitude unacceptable. Strangely enough, the outside security lights went off the night we were burgled. The"Directeur" has not given me the money back for the pre-paid room we were going to stay at for one more night. He is apparently "unavailable" when I call and the staff are quick to put the phone down! We are trying to claim through their own insurance for the loss of our stolen goods according to French Law. There were no empathy from the staff who didn't feel concerned by the event which made us feel traumatized. We were the victims but they made us feel like the guilty party, the annoying people, even accusing me in an email of harassing staff when I email two questions regarding the claiming process. Don't expect good service like in the UK, they don't care once they've got your money! The rooms are unbearably HOT and there is no Air Conditioning. We were on the first floor and didn't sleep much as it is very noisy in the street. The breakfasts are meager and extortionate at 13 euro per person. All in all, it is a relatively cheap room, in the center of Paris but don't expect good service if something goes wrong. If you are going to stay there, close the window even when you are in it and take a really good insurance against theft!
