"We checked into a room that didn't seem as clean as possible. After one night... we left and came back to our room only to find dirty, wet wash and hand towels. Half of the dry towels were missing on the rack. We called and notified housekeeping of the issues. They sent up a housekeeper to our room and she give us the towels we were shorted."

"My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing, primarily because of the poor customer service at the front desk. I arrived early for my reservation, paid my deposit, and was told I would receive a text message as soon as my room was ready. I waited for over three hours and never received any notification. By 3:30 p.m., after the official 3:00 p.m. check-in time had already passed, I went back to the front desk to ask about my room. The employee told me they were “finishing up” and that I would receive a text shortly. When I still heard nothing, I returned again at 4:15 p.m. and explained that it was already well past check-in time and asked what was going on. The staff member helping me responded with an attitude, made a phone call, and then simply handed me my room keys without an apology or any explanation. The only thing she said was to use the elevator behind me. This was the worst customer service I have experienced at any Las Vegas hotel despite staying at many different resorts over the years. Delays can happen, but poor communication and an unwelcoming attitude are unacceptable. Based on this experience, I will not be staying here again."

"Parking outside the garage for larger vehicles was not very good. I think I paid twice just trying to get out of the parking area the machines were not working properly. I paid for a pool view room when we got there we got the view of the parking lot."

"Clean room, a lot of amenities to elevate your stay. Plenty to do in and around the resort. Only downside is walking from parking to the room is a small hike every time!"

MGM Grand Hotel & Casino

"The start of the stay was good. The remote for the TV did not work and had to have maintance come up to reprogram it he said. The 2nd night we went to leave the parking structure when our key card did not work to let us out, which our parking was added to the room key. For 20.00 per day. We had to back all the way up to go back to the lobby to have our new keys given. then they only work part of the time because when they did not we had to call to have someone open the gate. On Saturday we got ready to go to the lazy river (which was one of the reasons we chose hotel) and bought the inner tubes to find inside no place to sit. Everything was either had to rent ahead of time or full. We never got wet. and paid 60.00 for 2 inner tubes we did not use. I feel a card should be given to you at check in regards to the lazy river about reserving a spot, how much, how to and we did not know or one inside each room. Rest of stay was good. I am a corporate travel agent and when asked about hotels if i have been i tell. I visit Vegas at least once a year to see my son and so we try to stay at different hotels but MGM would be bottom of my list. "

"It pains me to submit this review. The Venetian has a phenomenal reputation, hence why I brought my family and friends here for a multi-birthday celebration event as I have done previously. While Booking and customer service was wonderful, it was the following events that caused me to reconsider coming in the future. It's certainly acceptable that it may take time to check-in, but it took hours beyond the expected time. Additionally, our luggage was not inside our room even hours after checking in, which was frustrating when you have reservations for dinner and shows-and there is no communication. Futhermore, there were additional delays because we had to change rooms because of its appearance. Our original room was clearly lacking in proper cleaning and care. There were leftovers in the fridge, strange wet spots on the carpet which I stepped in with my bare feet, and the room we were expecting and paid for (including views) was not delivered. It is a beautiful space, but this experience was less than ideal. Note-there some fantastic customer service individuals, especially the woman at the Prestige Lounge that her name started with a P. I apologize I didn't write it down for further reference. She went above and beyond to assist us and we are grateful for her commitment and others commitment."
