Booked a room with a private patio was told they were sold out when I was checking in and that the price was the same for all rooms. Rooms weren’t cleaned during stay, trashed wasn’t emptied. Towels weren’t always left.

We were denied our booked room that we paid for an upgrade patio as the hotel had double booked. The room we were given was in very poor condition. The hotel rooms definitely need updated. The staff was incredibly rude. Trudy was the only nice staff member polite. She had offered an 11am checkout on day of leave and emailed the manager R. Palmer to inform him, however both individuals were not there during checkout THUS The staff/front desk was extremely RUDE as they treated Us disrespectful AND CONDESCENDING stating no one gets late checkout during the checkout process. However it was only 10:40am when We were denied access to our room during checkout as we had to have security open our room to retrieve our luggage. We have never been treated sooo Rudely from a hotel we have booked through EXPEDIA. We will never stay at THE boardwalk in Panama City property again as the staff was incredibly RUDE and the property rooms need a complete make over!!!

We had a great time but toward the end of the trip we were not happy with the hotel. We never had our trash taken out and we never got new towels or toilet paper until the last day we were there. We had bugs in our room and the icing on the cake THEY TOWED OUR CAR without any notice. We had two vehicles for our trip and we drove one more then the other. Well apparently there was an event at the hotel and they needed to clear a curtain parking lot instead of contacting the owner of the car they just towed it. When we got back to the hotel and noticed it was gone we asked the security and he said oh we towed it. We were very upset. Security guy said they had been “watching it for several days” and “left multiple notices”. We finally were able to get the tow yard info and thankfully it is a 24 hour and we were able to go get it. Got to the yard and the car was still on the back of the tow truck. We had to pay $150 to get our car back that had JUST been towed. Took one look in the car and saw two notices both dated the day the car was towed and only 3 hours apart. We had been gone all day so there was no way we would’ve seen these notices. But the security guy claimed they’d been watching it for “several days”. Since it was so late we weren’t able to speak to a manager but we will be contacting them today to make sure we get things cleared up. Long story short if you stay here just be prepared to be inconvenienced.

The Reviews will mislead you the property is clean and it’s in an awesome location. But the customer service is horrible the Jamaican girl that checked me in was horrible and I felt like getting my money back and going elsewhere. All the Jamaicans are rude actually and then on my last day they called At 9p for me to move my car to another side which was terrible cuz I had to tote My luggage a long way in the rain. It would be better if they had customer service that was actually nice. I wouldn’t stay again based on that if I’m spending my hard earned money I expect to be treated like a human.
