Everything was clean and tidy. But no smoke alarms in unit. I thought it was illegal not to have smoke alarms

I thiink no smoke alarms is not mandatory according to the city council regulation as we have a certificate of fitness to operate a motel. Thanks

The motel was good value for money, close to Massey University (5 minutes by car) and close to central city (2 minutes by car). Although the room was dated, it was clean and had access to a park behind the room.

Views shared by host which do not align with our societies wider values of inclusivity and kindness. Unfriendly and rude comments about one of our children. Definitely not staying again. Rooms were very adequate.

As parents ourselves, albeit in our mid 70's, watching a 7-8 yr old push and hit his mother and slam car doors on her more than once, is not what I consider inclusivity and kindness as we would not have accepted that from our children and certainly not treated our parents in that manner. My comments were that the child is extremely fortunate that he was not my child.

Rooms are clean, beds comfortable and room size adequate. The motel is a bit dated but in very good condition.

Needed a good sleep after lots of travelling and got one at this nice motel. Owner friendly, nicely laid out and close to main centre.
