When I checked in, they informed me that the room keys were not working. So we had to come through the front and wait for someone to unlock our room each time we had to leave the room. Also, the phone inside the room did not work so we had to prop the door open (if one of us was gone) to walk up to reception to request any kind of service. While the staff was kind, it was a very inconvenient getaway for those reasons.
Checked us into a room that was not cleaned (had towels on the coffee table, garbage cans were full, bed unmade). Key cards were not working and the concierge had to meet us at our room to let us in. This meant room door and exit doors had to be propped open or we would need to go to the front desk to ask to be let into our room (who never answered the phone or could not be found). Site is NOT up to code for ADA accommodations (stairs only). The room smelled horrible (rotting food?). The concierge was NOT helpful and not knowledgeable of hospitality services.
The staff, specifically front desk were super helpful and nice. The hotel itself is a little bit old looking but the bed was comfortable and i loved that our room came with a microwave and mini fridge. Overall it was a good stay.
This Days Inn was clean and reasonably priced. However, the surrounding area is very noisy (right next to a major street and the highway). The room was not fully stocked so we had to ask for enough cups and coffee for 2 people. The breakfast choices were quite limited and not kept stocked. All the oatmeal was gone by the time we arrived and the pancake maker was empty. (Note: Both items were refilled upon requst.) The only fruit available was apples. No eggs.

Clean, big room. Friendly staff from front desk to house keeping. Close to the 10 for easy access.

Because of a death in the family, we were unable to travel through Indio. We called the hotel to cancel reservations, but they said because we used Expedia to book the reservations, a refund was unavailable. We will never use Expedia again.
Unsafe area and unclean room. Do not walk in the halls at night. Sheets had stains and old food was left in the fridge. Pillows were less than half the size of regular pillows for some reason? And only 3 half pillows to a bed. Room service did not come the entirety of the stay and the price was outrageous. Over $1,000 for 3 nights is crazy. If you’re going to be forced into staying at a price gouged motel, don’t pick this place.
Although check-in was a bit rough because the company's credit card recognition software was not working, the desk agent was able to upgrade me to a handicapped room (which I very much appreciated) and give me a lower price in addition. We are very pleased with the room as well.
Room could have been cleaner windows/tv/mirrors all needed attention. Lights go on randomly during night as they are sensor/timer. Nice front desk people and housekeeping staff too
The area looked very industrial when we drove in but once we checked in the rooms were large and comfortable. The area was not somewhere I would walk around at night. My only complaint about the room were the pillows on the bed, they were like rocks and I found myself not using them at all. The breakfast was nice but could have had a little more variety.
I love this place when I just need to get away for cheep stay it clean service is good

Great, friendly staff and clean rooms. Comfortable beds! I noticed on more than one occasion, however, a couple of passed out strangers (appeared to be, at least) asleep on the stairs. Kind of raised some safety concerns.
Hotel located in a very industrial area that houses many work crews. As a single woman I felt uncomfortable.
The room was clean but in room coffee was incomplete and other standard armenities lacking.
Appreciated the good sized rooms so we don't feel cramped during our stay. Staff was very helpful and I appreciated that they were able to fill my request for first floor since I cannot do stairs.
I have to say if I would be in the area again I’d stay here again. The area was safe to be in. The walks are NOT sound proof my neighbor had the tv loud good thing he/she turned it off at a reasonable time. The key would not work at times I had to go about 3 times to have it activated. Overall the stay was an 8.

Furniture in room #123 was in poor condition. Office chair had peeled backing and frayed edges. Coffee table and TV cabinet had major scuffs and edges damaged to bare wood ( particle board). Ceiling had large bulge from an apparent water leak and mattress had large stain. After arrival we asked front desk to replace TV remote which was faulty as well as provide missing coffee cups for coffee machine. Overall condition was not up to par for the price of $190. per night; more appropriate for an $75 room at a cheap motel. I have photos which I took should anyone like to see them.
Nicely renovated room but some furniture needs to be replaced. Breakfast was very limited with options and not enough quantity for the guests. Overall it’s good to stay for one night.
