Front desk staff never will answer the phone. Front desk staff doesnt show any care or hospitality for your stay besides a job for them to check you in. Minimal baggage handling assistance( at a golf resort) , hotel smelled like gas leak. At 2am we were evacuated by false fire alarm. Hotel room carpet is old and very dated. Golfers would like a room with smooth carpet for putt practices (lol) not lumpy olf dirty carpet. Hotel is pretty and very picturesque. Golf course is of course very nice . Pro shop is very nice. Birdies cafe is cute. The Butcher restaurant is nice and good food..amazing Ceasar Salad!! As for golf, its over $500 and cart isnt loaded with water or club and ball cleaner bucket. ( for $500 round you expect top notch luxury) . Pace of play was amazing for as busy as the courses were you have no rush from anyone. Very nice!!
All in all nice resort but it services its guests like a hotel rather than a resort, you dont get thar extra restort hospitality you would expect.
