I usually alway stay at a Marriott location due to my association with that brand as a franchise owner. However I unexpectedly was required to stay in N.J. recently and there were no vacancies in a Marriott in this area. So I settled on this location. And believe me I was prepared to complain about it not being up to the standards that are acceptable to me. But as Gomer Pyle used to say Surprise, Surprise, Surprise.
This was a very nice facility. Quaint, yet very functional as a small convention facility and great for my needs. The room was clean, properly appointed, up to date architecturally, very pleasant staff, wifi that actually worked and absolutely the best soap and shampoo I have had the opportunity to sample from a hotel chain ever.
I had breakfast in the morning and it was hot and very tasteful. On my list to stay.
...be wary of Expedia's room description! Booked a double room for 3 adult males based on Expedia's room description saying "..., a double sofabed are among the conveniences offered." To our disappointment the room only had 2 double/full size beds & no sofabed. A quick call to the front desk confirmed that they had no rooms in the hotel like the one described on Expedia. They were quick to offer a free upgrade to a king room with sofabed, which, while still not ideal, met our needs.
Very happy with my families last minute stay at this hotel. The cookies you're greeted with were delicious, the room was nice and comfortable, pool and hot tub were very nice. Woman who checked us in was beyond nice. Definitely will not look for another hotel when I am in the area, very happy with the stay!
Love this hotel. We have stayed here many times as we have family in Teaneck. Our most recent stay was due to the passing of my father-in-law. The hotel staff couldn't have been any more kind and considerate of our situation. They went above and beyond from a customer service perspective.
