The Palms are really well appointed and convenient. On site parking and great staff support. Amazing views and the Bay of Islands to swim in across the road, 20m from the front door!

We rented a car and drove from Auckland to Paihia, Bay of Islands. It is only 3.5 hrs drive straight up, but we had 2 stops along the way, Sheep World and Whangārei. Done cruise to Hole in the Rock, Parasail and Thunder Trike Tour! Lots of fun, shopping and good food.

This was our second stay at the Edgewater. We enjoy the proximity to the beach and the various activities available in Paihia. Friendly helpful staff. An excellent place to stay!

Very nice property. However we were in a unit at the back. Behind the property were other apartments where loud music was played a lot. Ask for a front unit.

Absolutely gorgeous apartment. Check in was very easy. Perfect location. Beach straight across the road. Walking distance to the wharf, Main Street walking distance. Had everything you could need, we wished we had more time to stay longer. Highly recommend.

The apartment is in a great area--across from a beautiful beach and walking distance to many restaurants, shops and the dock to catch boat tours. The apartment was clean and spacious. The pool is nice but not heated. Our biggest complaint was the noise both nights we were there until 2am. This was suprising as this mostly seemd like a place for older folks and families (not a party spot). We also received an accessible room, which is great that they have this option, but we are tall and this meant the counters in the kitchen were quite short (we were not told about this ahead of time). It was fine for our stay since we did not do much cooking but would have been challenging if we had stayed longer.

Great location, great room size, great apartments!
This is a great place to stay. Close enough you can walk to all the shops etc, but far enough away that it feels a little more relaxing and quieter. The room was very good and a good size! Overall very happy with the stay here

Really enjoyed my stay. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment - very spacious, very clean, new ammenities, great view to the see, helpful reception. We actually ended up extending our stay because we liked it so much. Would def stay again.

Location and views were great - very tidy and very welcoming on arrival which was great. Only down side - double glazing would have been great due to what felt like 4 nights of yahooing at the beachfront until around 1am - felt very tired after 4 nights. Would definitely still return though.
