A bit dated but clean and ok to stay for a few days. Would stay again but not in the Petite Suite. It’s small and feels like a cabin on a cruise.

Very clean and tidy. Close to shops and beach. Loved that the outdoor pool was heated and at a reasonable temperature. Spa was also very good. Kitchen was a little small but perfect for for making drinks and breakfast. Overall very happy with our stay there.

Clean room for a quick stopover. Room was indicated to be small which is was but ut was big enough for a short stay. Place was tired and in need of an update, but this is reflected in the price. Dishwashing cloth and liquid were in the room but there was no kitchen sink. It is inappropriate to wash food items in a handbasin. Given its location in Waitangi some consideration of Maori cultural tikanga (separattioitn of food and bathroom activities ) would be good. Suggest tthey add a plastic bowl for this use.

The hotel manager was extremely helpful and lovely! We came here with our family. To be honest, this place hasnt faired well over covid - its looking a bit tired and in need in some investment to freshen the rooms up. The kids loved the pool

Unfortunately this is a motel we will not be back to. The bathroom had no towel rails but bare holes in the wall where a towel rail once was. The toilet seat was all for whatever reason scratched up. The road noise was a significant issue for us and despite being booked in for two nights we checked out after one night. No refund was afforded despite our request and the issues we encountered. We booked into a similarity priced motel with twice the quality within the hour.

The heated pool is heated to 28 degrees, there's a lovely touch of te reo Māori incorporated in the information pack and the customer service is excellent.

Was a lovely stop and i wish qe could have stayed longer. Pool was lovely, spa and spa bath nice Everything qe needed was in the unit, bed was comfy and the aircon in this muggy heateave absolute bliss. Will definitely stay her again.

The room was very adequate for our purpose however I didn't like having to wash dishes in the hand basin in the bathroom. Even though it was very clean it didn't appeal to me. Maybe if a plastic basin was provided could be an option.

Reservation was double booked then was asked to pay more for another room. When I contacted Expedia and a big thanks to Expedia, the manager then gave us an upgraded room but did not follow through with it. We were given a backpackers room on another property with no hot water and was part of social emergency housing. All credit to the reception staff who tried his best well done PJ. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this motel very disappointed.

As advertised - great value accomodation in Paihia. Would stay again for sure. Good location, friendly staff. Appreciated the heated pool & spa on days the beach was too cold. Decent sized room and spacious bathroom. Was clean. Never ran out of hot water in the bathroom. Only improvements would be: heat pump in room, new beds (wasn’t uncomfortable but could feel springs starting to come through in spots), better water pressure, new shower/bath, in room fridge didn’t quite get cold enough, and we stayed in the unit below the office and we could hear noise from upstairs. Wasn’t too bad but just being extra mindful of that between the hours of 10pm-8am.

Nice size rooms. Kept very clean, can tell the building is quite old but well maintained. Could do with a fan in the room, was ok with window open but one night with noisy neighbours had to close and it got a bit stuffy. I could have asked at reception but It was late

Lovely Motel, excellent situation as it was a nice walk to Paihia's shops and restaurants, with cafes locally. The Manageress was lovely and friendly, very useful and helpful. We would stay here again.
