Stayed overnight whilst attending a nearby function. The hotel is clean, staff were welcoming and helpful and the room was perfect. There were overnight roadworks nearby and it’s a busy area but we didn’t hear a thing in our room. We had lunch .. we found the menu OK and varied. Breakfast was lovely. Couldn’t fault anything.

The breakfast was great and the communal areas where bright spacious and well maintained. However the bedroom (Queen) was very small and the mattress and pillows were uncomfortable. We also found out we needed to pay for parking on top of booked through Expedia. We paid on the day but the hotel didn't process the payment correctly leading to hefty fine being issued. The hotel is located between a supermarket and busy road, but is convenient for Oxford and we discovered an amazing Lebanese restaurant in Abingdon. Location would be ideal for a couple of nights if only there was a bit more space to move around and the bed was comfortable. Next time we'll look at booking the Premier Inn next door instead.

We had a very comfortable stay - the staff were fantastic- helpful & cheerful. The breakfast was excellent & also the restaurant food & service in the evening was great too (& reasonably priced). Would definitely recommend the hotel for a visit to Abingdon and Oxford.

Excellent friendly staff. Superb breakfast with a wide choice. Clean and comfortable rooms. Only thing i could fault was the parking charge of £20 for 2 night stay. Had a lovely weekend and would highly recommend.

Can not fault the hotel. Was fantastic value for money. The hotel was very clean and we would highly recommend. We booked in for breakfast and was not disappointed. Such good choice with foods and catered to all our food requirements. Staff were friendly and happy to help.

Lovely weekend away
Had a lovely stay was very quiet and has a good range of shops around the area and only half hour drive to Bicester! Would defo stay again and the food was also good from the hotel ❤️

Good stopover went in a group most food ok but the chicken burgers were unadable so ended up just having chips that came with it with hindsight should have returned it.

Hotel has recently started charging for parking, despite being in the middle of nowhere, and having a tiny and very busy carpark. I paid for parking, and have subsequently been issued a parking fine of 100 quid! Oxford has plenty of other options for hotels.I will not be staying here agian.

We understand your concern, and we'd like to provide some information to clarify the situation.Our hotel takes parking management very seriously, and we've taken several measures to ensure that our guests are well-informed about our parking policies. We have a total of 10 signs located within the car park, along with a prominent sign at the hotel entrance, all designed to convey our new parking regulations clearly.Our decision to implement a paid parking system is driven by the desire to ensure that our valuable guests have a convenient parking space upon arrival. Unfortunately, we have situations whereby non-hotel visiting guests have parked their vehicles within our grounds limiting the availability of our car parking spaces.While we do our utmost to notify every guest about the importance of registering their vehicle, we acknowledge that there may be instances where parking fines are issued. Please be aware that the car park is managed by a third-party company, and the enforcement and fine issuance process is beyond our control. The third-party company handles this aspect of parking management independently.We genuinely regret any inconvenience this may have caused you, and we'd like to offer our assistance in addressing the situation. £10 for parking! Be aware
Be aware this hotel charges £10 per night park for anyone that doesn’t book through Hilton honours, if you book on hotels.com, Expedia etc they charge. If you book through an agency they won’t give you a receipt when you check out even though I paid for parking and now I’m chasing them for a receipt for my expenses. I stop in Abingdon nearly every week but only stayed here twice this year. The hotel is nice but the management is poor.

The hotel was well designed and very comfortable. But what was bad was Expedia - when I booked through them the process said nothing about having to pay for dogs, so when I arrived it caused a big, difficult discussion about this. Also, I'd bought breakfast for both mornings via Expedia but this did not show up on my booking for the hotel staff. So they had to spend quite some time looking into it, finally agreeing with me that I'd paid for it. Botht things had made my arrival quite difficult. I was not impressed with Expedia.

I cant believe how poor the upkeep of the rooms are. There were so many marks on the floor and walls the shower was dirty the bedding had stains the location is very noisy the facilities were lacking

Exceptional service as always. One rare glitch: having been turned away as breakfast was over, the member of staff didn't offer any alternative. Later the receptionist said they could have made us something but it was too late by then as we had to leave - hungry .

Great 2 night stay
Stayed for 2 nights as we were playing a golf competition at a local course. The restaurant was so convenient as we did not arrive until 7.30 in the evening. Dinner and breakfast were good the food and service could not be faulted.
