I pre-paid for my room on Expedia but was asked to pay on arrival, and was asked again after explaining that I'd already paid through Expedia. Eventually the check-in staff charged Expedia for the room which was fine but it was a poor check in experience. There are several bright lights in the room such as the AC controller and the intermittent flashing of the fire alarm which made it difficult to sleep deeply. The AC is generally quite noisy even when off. I was woken in the middle of the night to the smell of the nearby sewage treatment plant, which was incredibly strong in the room. There were no hot breakfast items on arrival to breakfast and I had to go up several times to get a full hot breakfast that wasn't just eggs.
